hello good day to hear where you buy the camionetaso the grab and if that is the case when money needed to make a red Jeep Wrangler with a swinch and its control as shown in the video and it works thanks
The NRC has something similar to the Ltrail made by a local. Not exactly a one-off but a limited run. The FJ, lol. So much for the idea a 2.2 can out run a 1.9. That has not been the case consistently for us, lol.
these are all custom but there are a few kits you can buy to start with. axial makes the scx-10 scale kit for about $250 but is incomplete, putting you at about $350. tamiya has the pajero/wrangler on a cc-01 chassis for under $200. they also have the hilift/hilux/tundra kits for $450. hobby stores or online is where you get it.
Thanks so much dmille460. Most of these trucks are custom made. the red fj is a stock Tamiya CR-01 though. Many are slightly modified Tamiya kits. the black range rover is a stock Tamiya CC-01 chassis with new body. The small red jeep is a Losi Mini Rock Crawler with scale chassis. the two crew cabs are mine and are completely custom, right down to the bodies that I made from standard cab pickup bodies.
i'm thinking about getting the L-trail from tcs but the chassis is still on development.i'm thingking about getting the rainier 9 by sac-racing too. what you think!? thanks!
The Ltrail is a nice kit. I checked out the Sac-Racing Rainier 9 and it looks good too. Couple questions I'd have about it though-mentions 9" wheel base and adjustable shock towers. I'd want to know what the wheel base range for it is. also want to know what the rails are made out of. In picture it looks like 20ga steel instead of the 1/8" alum that is standard. good price for it too.
thanks. That great hillclimb at the end was by a member of scale4x4rc that goes by "khan". He made his own cnc chassis and otherwise runs axial stuff under the body. He was very determined to get up that hill and drove it very well!
we were all impressed at both his trucks ability to do the climb and his driving patience to get it to find traction. It was also the last climb of our day on the rocks. Nice way to close the trip...
thanks lemons. It was probably much steeper than lions back actually, lol. I have another video from Corral Canyon that has a descent like Lions back...
Agreed! I saw him start it and struggle at the bottom and grabbed the camera. Then I coaxed him to start again and this time he stayed with it till the top...was really impressive to see in person.
It was impressive driving-patient and kept at it. he could have kept going but couldnt see the rig any longer, lol. At one point we were discussing if it were better to save the radio or the truck...when it came crashing down, which it didnt...

what kind of chassis is on the losi mrc!? thanks!!!
R18SEDAN 3 years ago
that is a custom scale chassis made by a local, "diaz designs". you could get similar by getting the L-trail scale chassis for the Losi.

yeah, it was pretty impressive, especially given how it was spinning its tires most of the way up with little traction. driver was very patient...
I thought the natural soundtrack (of us messing around) was pretty good on this one, lol.
