Rom. 1:26, 27 The implication is clear. Homosexuality is ranked right in there with other sins. 1 Cor. 6:9, 10. I have gay people in my family, I love them to death, but I would never deny what the scriptures say because of my personal feelings. @TheEdduff Lots of things oppose the word of god, but you people focus in on just a few things. In the bible, god condones stoning children to death (Deuteronomy 21:18-21) but I doubt you support that, and killing the victims of rape (Deuteronomy 22:23-24) which I also highly doubt you support.

The term "homosexual" dates from the late 19th century, when human sexuality first began to be studied as a science. so how did those words get into the Bible that is much older than the word that they're using? No where does it say that it's a Sin!

Rom. 1:26, 27 The implication is clear. Homosexuality is ranked right in there with other sins. 1 Cor. 6:9, 10. I have gay people in my family, I love them to death, but I would never deny what the scriptures say because of my personal feelings. Gay people have to respect people's rights to express themselves just as they want other to do for them. Respect is a two-way street.

@TheEdduff Lots of things oppose the word of god, but you people focus in on just a few things. In the bible, god condones stoning children to death (Deuteronomy 21:18-21) but I doubt you support that, and killing the victims of rape (Deuteronomy 22:23-24) which I also highly doubt you support.
I take these teachings with a grain of salt. Some of the messages are good, do unto others as you want them to do unto you, love your neighbor, etc. But some of the messages are ludicrous.

They should put up a 'response billboard' that says "being ignorant is NOT a gift from God" ... Believing in God and being gay are not mutually exclusive. Ignorance is a choice, hating is a choice, ...but being gay is the way people are born (however behaviors are always a choice no matter).
