it seems to appear as an error of the same type in all forms. the rest i sorted it out.

AsutoshTutorialALF is my projects name. i hope you could help me with this or at least give me a hint what this means ^_^

Not right syntax.

Double-click on My Project at the top-right corner, now another menu will show where your designer was

Click on the tab that says "Settings"..

In this case, you're wanting a username and password.

Set the "Name" to Username and the value to your desired username.

Same thing for the Password.

Then, your code would be something along the lines of

If Textbox1.Text = My.Settings.Username And Textbox2.Text = My.Settings.Password Then ' Put your stuff here

End If
