though i think all detroit 2 strokes sound great, i personally like the sound of detroit marine engines. maybe it is the lack of mufflers.

@asulca593 I know a guy who has twin 6v71Ns (no aftercoolers) with mufflers. Loud as fuck though.

@asulca593 i kno what u mean they have a deeper tone it has somthin too do with the exhaust bein really wide and a few other things

@staticxfan4life because there is hardly any mufflers on them, well at least ours is that way, and the exhaust tubing is super short

Excellent video (notwithstanding that fog horn)! Correct me if I'm wrong, those sound like twin 12-71 turbo Detroits on that crew boat. Nothing compares to the sound of those motors running at 2000 rpm!
