Looks like normal play to me. I think she's just a little over-excited. Has she spent much time around other cats? When cats get restless they engage in imaginative play. I think her vocalization is just part of that play, just like some kids will shout 'take that!' while attacking imaginary foes during play.

I think she's doing that because she's bored. When she does that, maybe try playing with her for a while to distract her? If you can predict it, you can also play with her before she starts.

I'm not an expert though, so there's a really good chance it's because of something else.

@CanadianLiz01 She goes to the vet twice a year for regular checkup and the vet said she is at the right weight for her size. She is a bigger cat but certainly not overweight. Thank you for your concern though.

@aubonchocolate I hate it when people think cats look fat when they aren't. Cats of this size (like mine) are SUPPOSED to be this size - they aren't skinny like the Siamese or Abby cats. Your cat looks perfect to me.

No matter how smart your kitty is, they're still pretty dumb sometimes and do some downright dumbpuddin' stuff that'll make absolutely no sense whatsoever to any other creature except themselves. Think that's one of the things that makes me love 'em so much!

dont worry, shes just dumb ^^ saw several dogs and cats of our own, they just dont recognize that its their own tail/shadow/back/legs and those who did it, did way more funny and stupid things ^^

For me it looks like she's searching a companion for a little cat fight. My cat and his buddy are acting very similar together.

Is she an indoor cat? Sometimes my cat wants me to play tag with him. And then he is acting a little bit weird, doing strange noises.

yup i totally agree she wants a companion but is making do with her own feet etc lol its nothing to worry about sometimes when my other cats are roaming outside and one inside wants to play they have lil hypo fits and make these noises and run around atakn furniture and freezing etc

She did this occasionally and I did check if there is something going on with her paws or nails. They are fine and clean. The vet checked her out too and she's in the pinkest of health. Thanks for your concern though. Much appreciated.
