  • painting the block is fine, I prefer not to paint any thing with cooling fins on it. The work you have done thus far looks great and a clean rebuild is a long lasting

    rebuild but it looks like you have that covered, nice work.

  • That piece looked electrical in nature with cooling fins paint will hinder heat transfer
