nobody is addressing this one beginning question. when i first initially connect my iPhone to my computer and sync it with iTunes via usb, and i choose the options to sync over wifi for the first time on iTunes, do i then eject my iPhone from the computer then unplug it? or do i just unplug my phone without clicking the eject button?

because i click eject, then unplug it, and i can't get wifi sync to work

@1996door hmmm strange, he demonstrated in the video that you don't need to be connected. You only need to connect to upgrade your iDevice firmware once. Did you get the latest beta build?

You have to go to Settings -> iCloud -> Documents & Data and turn it on. That fixed it for me.

Not so sure if anyone else knows, but right now, you can actually download the GM build of iOS 5 by searching on Google. I'm using it on my iPhone 4, and it is just awesome! To use it, you'll need iTunes 10.5 beta. If you don't want to wait another week to use iOS 5, just go to Google and download it right now!

@drwholive i have windows and i have done it...make sure a developer registers your phone by the UDID code..then ask them for a link to the download CDMA or GSM..next choose 64bit or 32bit, after plug your phone to itunes then backup ur phone, then hold down shift and click restore at the same time, a window will pop up..choose the IOS 5 firmware then your done..when it asks you if u want to set it up as a new phone hit no, back up from your previous backed up phone..YOUR DONE, IOS 5 installed..

ok im having trouble i don't see wifi sync in itunes options. i have itunes beta 2 and ios 5 beta 2 on my iphone. i manually sync itunes from my iphone ios 5 beta 2 from the general----> settings-----> itunes sync when connected to itunes beta 2. when i do this it backs up but it doesn't finishes reconciling the changes. is this for ipad only and not for iphone?????

@bacardiconlimon Make sure you have updated to OSX 10.6.8 (or whatever is the latest release at the moment). Apparently this feature isn't appearing unless your OS is updated.

@kidkool27 Yes, the only way to install the iOS 5 beta is to do a complete restore, but you can restore your content from a backup.

@betomakeselectronics It was in a charging dock not connected to the computer. It should be noted that syncing will occur automatically if you are charing your iPad, that was something that didn't become part of this video because it didn't work reliably ;).
