  • YES fran4n reaper has a virtual keyboard that lets you use the qwerty typing keyboard on your pc, mac or laptop as a midi device, a midi device would be better but if your on a budget if you are creative you can create a track with JUST reaper, a pc mac or laptop, some wav 1 shot samples (optional but your best option for free good sounding drums, SERCH GOOGEL) and some decent vst effects and instruments (agen serch googel kuz there are a few good free 1s)

  • i havent really got any recording hardware only got my laptop n reaper could i stil make a track as its for an essay?

  • You need some sort of midi usb controller... you can get one of those for $60

  • Is this programm like Acid Pro?

I'm using Acid Pro and i want to switch over to a better programm to mix & remix my stuff.

  • hey my mic doesnt work do you know what im doing wrong

  • This dude is hilarious! I love easy-going people! He seems to enjoy Hip Hop as well. I wonder...

  • I use reasons i used cubase i've used digital performer i have used pro tools please some one tell me how to cut and past a freaking midi track in reaper i know how to split parts how do i repeat a simple loop with out it transforming into a new type of mutation???????????????

  • ctrl+x ctrl+V

  • u proly already figured this out but its difficult as hell to do otherwise take a sample or audio file (from wherever you keep your samples) and drag it to the interface if that's not what you are talking about well at least it helped i hope

  • HOW TO OPEN REASON 4 SOFTWARE

  • The way you can right click on a track - select "record output" and have the vst midi instrument instantly rendered to audio - on the midi track - is PHENOMENAL!!!! Even in Reaper I was using a "print midi" track for this, not realizing I could render to audio on the fly. Nice Reaper peeps. Jesus may have a place for you in his Kingdom - well...provided you listen carefully to everything he says and do it. Ha ha. Because can you imagine waking up one day, "Wha? I'm in Hell????"

  • Reaper sucks in the quantize dep, anything I play with midi plays back completely different. It quantizes automatically random crap.

  • anyone knows how to export the audio file to the pc?

  • Use Render.

  • are you serious?

  • reaper!

  • I'll take care of that, thank you LOL

  • this video sure came in handy when i got my miko. had no idea how the hell to use reaper and put the vst's with it. now im doing pretty good

  • i have reaper and is there an autotune for it?

  • yeah autotune works with my reaper

  • reaper only works with a neko or miko you controllit with the niko/miko not a midi controller or a md24 just lettin u know

  • lol not true i use reaper lol

  • can you record amplitube through reaper?

im having trouble finding how to record amplitube.

    any advice?

  • How is that Amplitube comared to Guitar Rig 3?

  • i have to invest in me one,,,,i want the openlabs neko xxl, thats my dream before i leave this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Can Proteus be used with cubase, fl strudio, protools?

  • Yes, yes, and yes.

  • can i use my mpd24 with reaper for sampling music like i can on reason?

  • Is it neccesary to have an instrument to do the mixes.

  • I have a M-audio Axiom 61 keyboard, how do I get it to work with Reaper?

  • Plaese somebody tell me, I'm trying to line up one track with another in the correct place but reaper only lets you drag a track to specific 0.5 second bars. Any way round this

  • turn off "Snapping". I like to turn off ripple edits as well

  • hello im new to reaper and how do u insert music WB

  • I'd like to see videos that show how edit, mix, and master in reaper.

  • Agreed.

  • I just downloaded Reaper but I don't know zilch about it. I want to make some jam tracks. I want to take out the lead guitar and leave everything else so I can play along with the band. For instance, take Walk Don't Run 64, how do I take out the lead guitar part?

  • The only way you could do that so it would sound good is to get your hands on the original recording from when it was recorded. There are other ways but to me there not that great, i belive it matters if the song is panned and you have to cut out frequencies but if you was to take out the frequencies that the guitar is in, it will have a big effect on the whole song. so in my oppinion, have a go but i doubt it would bring good results, or another way, is to cover it and record each instrument

  • is reaper free

  • nope... but it has a 30 day free trial

  • lol

  • there is a free verison yes

  • sick

  • Hot shit!
