@nanneken yes..i learnt this song for my first song that i learnt on guitar ever and its b7. it sounds weird at the start but then after you play it for a while you get it and it closes that part up to start the 2nd part.

Thanks for the lesson! Very good explanation! I'm having trouble with the bar chords getting good sound, I have an acoustic with ga 13 strings. I think they are too heavy as I have to press inhumanly hard to get notes. Opinion please?

Excelent video man, though if I'm not mistaken, in the last part where you're using the B7 cord it's supposed to be first string third row, third string third row, and then you complete the cord and do the pinky note after doing the tempo once, at least that's how I was taught this song, look it up, maybe I'm wrong, but excellent lesson mate!!

Thanks to this vid I learned how to play romanza after having gone only to 2 guitar classes(not to mention that its the first time I play one) Thanks Erland Wanberg.

The thing with the guitarr type is just that it sounds diferent cos the song was meant for a classical guitarr. This vid is the best.

Sorry but this just sounds horrible..........try using a nylon strung guitar and learn the rest of the song before posting an instructional video you would have a lot more credibility that way.

2 things:

First - this song is played on classical guitar

Second - the right hand pattern doesn't change but you play different strings in certain parts of the song, it's not always E-B-G, E-B-G...

Mm, depends on how much you practice per day. If you do like.. an hour a day, shouldn't take very long, maybe a month to get used to proper barring.

It makes a world of difference. It ruins the song, and it makes learning from the video painful -that's why I had to go and find tabs for the second part (which he doesn't even play).

And what is this gothic romance? If, by goth, you mean an image-obsessed social outcast, then what has that got to do with Spanish guitar?

Likewise, what would a historic Germanic (gothic) tribe have to do with it?
