  • thats clive! i know him! goes to my class!

  • What are you recent posters talking about. Ceroc is a highly professional and standardised way to learn to dance. I have been to 5 venues and all of the instructors are excellent and knowledgeable. It is fun, it is sociable and you get out of it as much as you are prepared to put into it.

And it's big Andy Bragg at Redditch

  • I really love the variation on the Octopus to dip at 0:08, will have to try it out on monday

  • love this couple, looks so easy! (although am gessing it is not) - definately hooked to try to dance! :-)))

  • totally want to learn how to dance ceroc now :D

  • we have to do this for PE at school and i secretly love it, im a guy by the way

  • @tigerbrooks1 - I can't remember exactly but it was ~ 3 years ago - probably Oct 2007?

  • any idea when this was filmed? I remember dancing in the Kingfisher Centre Redditch on my wedding day as we rushed through in our wedding attire, it was brill!

  • I really like this version of Crazy Little thing called Love - can anyone tell me who's it by ??

    Thanks.

  • @Jez2008UK

    Queen

  • @crg705

Thanks, I know the original is by Queen, but I'm asking who is THIS version performed by.

  • @Jez2008UK

I redubbed the music over the video myself & I was sure in my mind that I'd used Queen's version - but you're right - it not. This version is by Michael Buble off his first album.

If you like the track you might also want to check out the version by Torsten Goods - completely different - much slower but also fab

  • Michael Buble

  • @Jez2008UK

    sounds like michael buble!

  • @Jez2008UK michael buble

  • @Jez2008UK I think its by Michael Buble

  • well the girls do tend to lead themselves sometimes _ I always tell them

but as for your suggestion, that many ceroc dancers, don't follow the music, that is an absurd generalisation,

you could get that happening with any dance style

locasling it to ceroc is ludricous

  • Avram Grant can dance? wow

  • hmm, it looks so rigid, still though its a great idea :)

  • great vid - thanks - love the advanced routine .. now I definitely want to learn to dance ... for life

  • This video had been an inspiration to me. The couple dance together so well without anything too showy or difficult. They are both clearly enjoying it and move effortless from one move to another without repeating hardly anything. They seem to have an instinctive understanding of eachother. I've only been dancing for a few months but if I can one day be as good a lead as this guy then I'll be very happy. Thanks very much for posting it and I wish you years of happy dancing.

  • wicked the old guy was very good loved his dancing!

  • If it wasn't for the old guys who enjoy Ceroc, the women would be even more outnumbered than they are now and many of them would rarely have the chance to get on the floor and improve their skills.

  • cool moves daddy-o

  • This looks soo much fun, iv always wanted to busk but when ever the day to do it comes, it always gets rained off or cancelled for some reason :(

  • Ceroc can be great fun. I got to intermediate level (here in UK) but gave up cos there were never enough men, so us gals had to spend most of the evening sitting it out..

Come on guys, get yuz feet moving!!!

  • same in wellington NZ- i cant get my frendz along. dont worry- stil tryin :p

  • You could always try learning the male role... its fun AND when theres not enough men, it doesnt matter you are still able to dance :)

  • You could as the guys to dance too

  • crap in the uk? im 17- that middle aged to u? most of my friends dance aswell. yes theres just a beginners and intermediate usually, however theres weekenders to enhance your skills, and in freestyles if you're doing it right you should be learning all the time from you're partners. They do tell girls to follow the lead.. its just some women find it hard. all techers have been doing it years aswell. you have no idea what you're on about

  • Its crap in the UK. All middle aged people and just a beginner and intermediate class. I gave it up when I came back here.

  • Forget Ceroc. I know dancing is meant to be fun But you are actually supposed to listen to and dance to the music, which unfortunately very few cerocers do. I blame the teachers who generally only have a few months dancing experience (of Ceroc). They should also tell the girls to follow the lead and not try and lead themselves. Just a thought.

  • I agree with you whole heartedly. These days I prefer dancing to more bluesy tracks as they give so much more opportunity for musical interpretation. As for following - a big yes to that. Having said that I think it would do most leaders good to have a spell at following - it would give a good insight into what the followers look for in a good lead ;-)

  • Well if the women dosnt follow there are things you can do, the ultimate being to not ask her to dance again.

  • Best thing I have ever got involved in - it is a change from boxing and football!

  • lol:)

  • Thanks! You've persuaded me to look into trying this out.

  • I learn ceroc in english ..its pretty cool..

  • I have been dancing ceroc last 5 months twice a week , I love it , can't wait for my next ceroc lessons... Good fun and great way of keeping fit.

  • i do ceroc dancing

  • I started it in New Zealand and its much much better over there. A lot more people in their 20's do it so your not dancing next to a sweaty old man and you can go a lot further with it as there is an advanced class. The classes are conducted better too. I gave it up when I came here.

  • The old men may be sweaty because they're putting more effort into it . If it's young men you're after, as opposed to dancing, there's no shortage of pubs , wine bars and online dating sites. You sound a rather unpleasant person and therefore no loss to the British Ceroc scene. When did you say you're buggering off back to sheepshagging land?

  • I'm not a kiwi you numpty, i am british thats why i came back here! Judging by your age you must be one of those sweaty old men. I already got a boyfriend who does ceroc with me so i don't need online dating etc. I also have a baby from him so I'm not unpleasant to him am I?!

  • makes me want to dance

  • Pretty neat, particularly on the part of the guy on the right, who must be carrying about eight stone overweight.
