I assure you the cab is fine. I also got one with.a more boxy Marshall straight look. They rock jension speakers and can get loud and full tones. I also have a jcm800 with a cab like this. Check out my video and see my setup with the uber metal pedal. I like your tone. Will prolly pick up this pedal tomorrow.

@3301pepe This pedal would be perfect for punk. You can dial-in a mix of overdrive and distortion, so you can cut through the mix with your overdrive mids and the beefy bottom end of the distortion. Cheers man.

I think its the amp and cab that's good. Despite the fact that I own this pedal and love this pedal too, this pedal is not really as good as some stuff like the metal muff if you are talking about distortion, neither is it as good as some sick stuff like even then boss OD -2 when u are talking about overdrive. However, the mix of both efx really spice things up!

Hey bro, settings were: level 40%, tone 40%, drive 75%, color "distortion". The amp is a one channel amp, so the pre-amp level was at 7.5. Cheers!

ok cool, my favourite settings are level 40%, tone 35%, 80% drive, colour 65%

i put that through the clean channel i.e. no distortion

and i get a sweet rock tone and when i roll of the tone on my guitar and switch to the neck pup i get a very convincing slash tone. its a sweet pedal

@syngates4life11 It's fun to mix and match head/speaker combos.. You can get some fantastic sounds and you're less likely to sound like a copy & paste of everyone else. I use a Marshall head/speaker combo but I preamp it with a Mesa circuit. Sounds wicked :P

sinceramente no le encuentro diferencia en entre este pedal y los otros de boss tanto como distorcion/ o overdrive...

para mi todos las overdrive/distorcion de boss o otras marcas tienen el mismo sonido , a noser que se los compare con un pedal Metal de dicha marca o otra marca.Ciao
