Also This was incredibly helpful. I did games dev a couple of years ago but flunked due to the business and marketing research side. When I left I only had slight knowledge of maya and since buying maya wasn't gonna happen I tried learning to use blender. A lot of videos where very muffled, didn't explain a lot or where hard to pay attention to. This however was perfect. Thanks so much mate.

@zoozz57 Just press E to extrude the region basically, for the menu, look to the left. I believe it's in the bottom left, not sure. But really all you need to know is pressing E....

Just a quick suggestion.

To not confuse this tutorial with anything up to date - you should in general start by mentioning the software version this is for - and probably also have it in your naming

A blender noob here with a question: What is the proper course of action if the B hotkey does not seem to be doing anything? All it seems to be doing is freeze the program for a bit. Double clicking B doesn't make the paint tool appear either...

@Mushinronja Actually, disregard this, since It works with version 2.5. I know some of the hotkeys are different from the versions, but i will try my best to still follow the instructions, lol.

You must do Shift+C to centrate the cursor to it's original spot, if you hit C after that it will centrate the view on the cursor :)

Peter, about the "Left Click weird thing", if you hold Left Click & draw a "line" then release left click, it turns on Move. If you draw a "curve", it turns on Rotate. If you draw a "zigzag", it turns on Scale.
