I also prefer this song than the one Germany sent this year... (although both are nice) BTW... I just started learning german so I cannot understand much, but just have to say I looove the melody of german language!!! And this is a great song! (and the speakerperson has a great sexy voice as well)

yes, the eastern european countries always give their points to their neighbours. but i wonder why serbia got so many points even from us germans last year. i didn't like their song very much. i can't remember every song, but i think the spanish and the irish were quite nice. and germany gave also so many points to turkey because all the turks here called for their "home"-country so often..

for the next time: we have to stick together ;)

but i don't like our german entry this year..

2006 we had an english song, then last year this one and this year we are going to have another english one. i don't really like it yet, but maybe i can cotton up to it ^^

i do like it more if the different countries sing in their own languages. so each country can show something special. for this reason i don't like our new english song ^^.

but at least everybody can understand it then.. =)

I liked your song last year... No offence, i hate this years, but its a rather bad crowd most of the ones i've viewed (maybe two or three i actually like, denmark being one).

Being British i like it when people sing in English as i can understand it, but i prefer hearing other langauges, i listen to a fair bit of music from other countries, and much prefer hearing mother tounges... Guess im just weird ^.^.

Good luck from the Uk for this year, i'm not sure how well it will do though...

The Uk's won't win... i'd love it to, but it wont, its too forgettable, and while it will do well in the charts it will flop in eurovision (since we're 2nd in the running order).

Honestly, i doubt a western country will win it again, Ireland or Spain will probably score the highest this year with their songs... Oh well, least its a fun night eh? :D

Think we all would (No offence intended to people in eastern europe).

For us (Germany, France, Spain, Uk) its May 24th, but there are now two semis (we're all going to die!) 20th and 22nd i think.

Soon Japan will be taking part and it will last for four months (Not that i'd complain).

Not bad *at all*. Germany, France, Spain and the UK all put in fine performances this year whose technical achievements were leaps and bounds ahead of the other countries' entries.

No coincidence that these four countries are the only ones who automatically qualify each year - yes, it's because they put up all the money, but also because they're guaranteed to give high quality entries.

It's also no coincidence that these four countries came last.

Let's pull out and see what happens.

@Fantasygold2 Here's why: It doesn't. :) They SING themselves, the instruments are recorded beforehand (in this instance and in Eurovision). They may have actually played it in the German national finals and whatnot, that I do not know. But in the Eurovision Song Contest, every song is playback. It is a rule.
