Did Evanescence actually break up, or are they just taking a break?

@CaitlinAoina1 Evanescence has released no official statement of a break-up however and remember this is only my own opinion. We know that the bands record label is in financial trouble (Wind Up Records). We know that the band has not worked on the supposed "New Album" since last April and that was 9 months ago. It is not out of the realm for Lee to say "To Hell with it" and forget about the band again and go back to her solo projects. We'll have to wait and see.

@CaitlinAoina1 None of the band members are talking about the album or the bands future AT ALL which is very troublesome. They all have Twitter but they will not respond to anything about Ev.

When bands like this take long breaks between CD's it spells doom because they lose their relevance and fans and it's very hard to get those fans back especially when the band is doing nothing about it.

Personally, I think Lee would rather settle down and become a mom.

@CaitlinAoina1 They're actually working on a new album. They went into the studio this April, and the album is slated to be released this fall (fall 2010) it says so on their official website. I hope it's as good as their first two. I REALLY want it to be as good as their 1st, which I think is the best. And they're one of the only favourite bands of mine I never got to see live (doesn't help that they haven't released an album in like 5 years).
