She wasn't putting the color in her crease, she was putting it on the bone right above the crease. If you put a darker color in the crease, it makes the crease recede more and look deeper. But if you apply a darker color right above the crease on the bone, it make the crease look not so deep. I thought it was a great video :)
I dont understand, she says not to put dark shadow in the crease but it seems like that is what she was doing? The crease is right above your eyeball right?
I finally found what I'm looking for! I am in my early 30's now, but I could never wear eye make-up (I thought) becasue my eyes are so deep set adding the black eyeliner and the brown eyeshadow always makes me look like a racoon! I wish I could have learned these tips when I was younger - but its never too late I will try these tips to see if they work. You look FANTASTIC! (My eyes are very similar to yours - as well as my coloring - brown hair, brown eyes, olive tone skin). Thanks again.
I was getting frustrated with all the other tutorials I watched were by people who didn't have eyes like me. It comes out different and slightly less flattering, lol!
I have a request, could you give guidelines on how to apply eyeshadow to eyes that are small, with a small mobile lid space, but plenty room in the browbone? Basically that would be a deep set eye, but since they become hooded with age, the deep setness is even more pronounced. Eyeliner is tricky to apply.
I'm so glad I found your videos, I also have deep set eyes and it's really difficult to wear eye shadows. I would love. love. love if you do a tutorial using navy blue eyeshadow, I think it's going to be a challenge with such dark color, but I think you can do it. thanks
I have such a problem with make up because of my eyes, so I rather not wear make up. But sometimes I feel like wearing it. This did help me out some :) I'm really good at art so it's not hard for me to apply the make up I just never like the out come. My eyes are big, dark brown, and deep set. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do, but with a very natural look?
@katGarkia15 I would try using shimmer lighter shades on the eye lids like Femme-Fi, Shroom, Grain--All from Mac and use something like All that glitters, Espresso, Cork or Soba on the outer corner...just use the same technique i showed above, make sure to keep away from dk shades in the crease, esp in the center of the eyes...for cheaper colors try using Champagne & Cavier eyeshadow palette from NYX, its only $10! It has great neutrals, I used it in my previous video
Thanks! This helped a lot with my deep set eyes. :)

its also recommended to use a white-flesh tone eyeliner on the rims to bring out the deep set eyes.
