Great tutorial, man, thanks! It looks like xRez guys moved to Flash and HDView - how do you now extract the path? Been looking for it, but no good result. The old link you found for taho2_tiles works - could you share the other links you found, please? Looking forward to the second part as everybody else!!!
@DbIMKAzx Now that they changed to flash that makes my video a little useless :D
Even though they switched to flash, it's still very easy to find the directory. There are probably better ways, but this is the one I thought of off the top of my head:
1) Download and install Safari (Windows or Mac)
2) Open Safari
3) Click Window->Activity (this should open up a small dialog box)
@ielashi Oh yeah, this works - I'm a PC/Opera/Chrome guy - didn't know about Activity window - nice feature, will use for now! My walls any myself are really looking forward to the second video - great tutorial, man, thanks for your help!!!

Nice! I hope you post part 2, of your script soon. I want to use these gigapixel photo's as wallpapers. i currently have 2 24inch monitors, but finding good and nice dual screen wallpapers with a good resolution is very difficult. I hope you post this soon, so i can make some more wallpapers for myself,
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. There are lots of programs out there that can stitch images, but the problem is, with that number of images, it's very difficult (memory limitations and the like).
I had to write a script to automate the scripting of these images, which I will share as soon as it's ready and as soon as I have the time on my hands :)
Still waiting for part 2.... been about 3 years....

5) Look at the activity window, their should be an item called "xrez studio". Expand that out, if it's not expanded already".
6) Skim through the list of files and you'll notice the directory of where all the images are being fetched.
Hope this helps and let me know if it works for you.
