the title needs to be changed to proper grooming techinques . I clicked on this to better understand the tacking up with an english saddle since i'm new to this riding style. also if you want to walk that far out around the horse explain this is the best way to walk around a horse you don't know but also state the walking as close to the horse and having a hand on then also is safer from bringing kicked. new use of making video just need to change a few things

actually its pretty good tat curry comb i use it to brush a horse , i find it better then the regular one. also its more comfortable :)

it is a sarvis curry, I use it on my horses mane and sometimes on her coat when she is really dusty

you only can't walk behind a horse you DON'T KNOW not one that you know doesn't kick or one that trust you. haha we would be running into each other if we had to walk that far behind the horse every time we switched sides. i actually just duck and go uner the neck =]

The reason she walked so far away was because some people's horses might get spooked when you walk behind them so if you go out and walk behind a horse really close because she did, the horse might get spooked easily and kick the person .

It's for safety reasons, and your horse might let you walk close behind it but others might not.

hahaha. i know. i ride in hot, humid hong kong and i don't "brush" the fungus off my horse in the morning! if my baby had a fungal skin disease, i'd call the vet -- not give him a quick brush!

You'd be surprised. Lots of morons, including my mother can't grasp the concept of circular motion + brush from front to back so your already brushed areas don't get dirtied.
