I have to agree Iceman, I have seen this in game and it's horrible. I have enjoyed GoW for a hell of along time but I only played social. I tried going into Ranked a few weeks ago and instantly got turned off of ranked because not only did we get destroyed by a team of 5 level 100's all friends. Our team had me level 54 as the highest level and they talked shit after and it was the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Our community should be a greater than having to talk shit to new players etc.

I used to prefer gears1 over anything back in 07-09 because the community was fun. Everybody was doing snipe matches to get known and earn rep, and there was constant hating which I thought was funny. It made the game more enjoyable. Problem with gears2 and 3 is that there is no community, no one talks to each other, whether it be hating or having a laugh. I agree, CoD channels shouldn't be compared to GoW channels, cause they're two completely different styles, Gears takes more skill, I play both games, and I destroy on CoD and I've been playing GoW since the release date of GoW 1 and I still get ass handed to me every time I play that game. 1 player can take out an entire team on CoD, you try that on Gears you get jumped by 4 or 5 guys lol

I think there is a clear blueprint for success that has been laid out by the COD community, there is no reason why those tactics wouldn't work for a Gears channel... at least that's my theory on it, personally I subscribe for commentary... the montages are just a nice bonus.

Here is the problem with call of duty players coming to gears. They immediately come to gears and they use the cheapest tactics possible. They don't try to better themselves, they just keep doing whatever is easy, hiding behind walls and shit. See if you want to better yourself at the game fine, but don't come to the game and play cheap because you know you suck, there is no need for that. Lights joined the game, and it was all chill and cool. Granted, as host I pooped on him a couple times (one time with an unbelievable headshot), but it was all in good fun. A main reason I favor gears of war over call of duty any day is simply because it takes skill for me to get kills and I have to work at them. Call of Duty I can go into the domination match with my team losing 100-45 and me only can turn the whole game around with an osprey gunner or AC-130.
