Furthermore there was a large population exchange between Greece & Turkey after 1922. Im sorry but the Greeks were never a majority in Izmir & how could they be? When Ataturk had reclaimed Izmir they could have easily continued to advance & taken over all of Greece and the allied powers tired of fighting for so many years would have been unable to intervene.
