  • haha "thanks uncle jesse"

  • This is funny, but if I was Uncle Joey I would of fucked that dood up, disrespect me in my house!!??!!??!! As soon as that camera turned off I woulda punched that guy in his fuckin mouth

  • IT WAS UNCLE JOEY!!!!!!

  • im confused.... is this forrreaal?

  • Even though it was fake, I couldn't help but go, "OOOOOO BUUUURRRNN!!!" at the end xD

  • @MANTISscream except for the fact that he's a voice actor and has been steadily working for more than the last 20 years

  • Brilliant.

  • It's actually "Uncle JOEY"...

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit it's actually just "Joey"

  • @MrThrowback82 the girls didnt call him Uncle Joey?

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit nope, He was Danny's best friend from childhood. The only time he was ever called Uncle Joey was after Uncle Jesse had the twins. There was an episode where he passed one of his kids to Joey and said "Hold Uncle Joey" That was it. So the only person who ever called him Uncle was actually Jesse

  • @MrThrowback82 damn, you're like...a real fan of the show. Thanks for correcting me.

  • @MiamiPush2theLimit yep. Grew up watching the show. I'm the same age as Jodie Swetin (stephanie) and I loved seeing her on my screen every week.

  • this was hilarious to say the least. so say the LEAST. on another level of funny. "thanks uncle jessie." man i can't stop silently chuckling

  • Interviewer needs to get a job washing dishes.

  • Utter fail. Coulier has tons of potential for poignant criticism or creative mockery, but this interviewer is just a dickhead. I have douche chills

  • Comment removed

  • This is staged?!!?!? If this is indeed staged then they did a very good job because they talked over each other a lot which makes it sound real.

And if this is real then that interviewer can suck my dong.

  • Nathan Fielder rules. Not his funniest sketch ever, but it has its moments nonetheless.

  • "This is a sketch that we made with Dave Coulier for the CBC." I think this was good, but people need to stop thinking it's real.

  • Dear haters: qdE18bkpFms

  • This really came across to me as a skit even before I clicked through the embedded version I was watching. And even if it wasn't I'd still root for Coulier.

  • If this is a skit then I don't get the purpose of it's existence. It's not funny. Why would he submit this to CBC?

  • I think it's hilarious that so many people think this is a real interview. For many people it seems humour needs to come in a box labelled "joke inside".

  • LOL uncle jessie... what a dick

  • Why arre they talking about Coolio for? That is not funny.

Coulier may not have done anything big in a while, but he may not need to. I am sure he has a lot more money than the interviewer.

  • "you might be rusty because you havent done anything in 20 years"

    "wow...youre..youre quite the a-hole."

    i lold

  • It makes me sad that no one understands that this is just what Nathan Fielder and 22 Minutes do...

  • @jasminehare1 Because it's clearly not set up to appear real and trick people who don't know who Nathan Fielder is.

  • Why was the interviewer such a jerk? Just a major fucktard.

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck that interviewer. Seriously.

  • He called him "uncle Jesse" that is so epic, it's not even the right character name. Uncle Jesse was play by John Stamos. Dave Coulier was Uncle Joey. I sincerely hope that Mr. Coulier was in on the joke and that his apparent offense to the Full House "jokes" were part of the shtick.

  • I think that they're both right but obviosly one of them is an arrogant bitch and the other one is an actor that was sincere whilst keeping all manners.

  • I guess we won't get "Saget on Sagan" anytime soon...

  • The interviewer is Nathan Fielder. He is a film maker. He has the best dead pan I've ever experienced in my life.

  • Honestly, I've never seen this guys show, but this interviewer is an a**hole... period.

  • This is the seriously most unprofessional interview I've ever seen. I hope the hell this guy loses his job because of this. Dave Coulier is one of the most professional, hard working actors working today. He's also one of the funniest people I have ever known. It takes a lot to get under Dave's skin so I guarantee you this little twerp was high octane unconscionable. What an insulting little prick. Good for Dave for not putting up with it. Mike Binder

  • Don't know how real this interview is, but it's way funnier than what that "Coulier on Coolio" bit would have been.

  • FAKE.

  • What the fuck else does Coulier have to do? Your biggest success was about three pedophiles living in a house full of small children.

  • Eff this interviewer. Dave Coulier still wanted to do something funny, or maybe work with these guys to come up with something funnier than "Coulier on Coolio" which isn't funny at all. Coulier knew right away that there was nothing there, yet he was willing to come up with something else. The interviewer got butt hurt because his idea was a flop. So the interviewer continues to insult Dave. Props top Mr. Coulier.

  • Check it out @1:21 you can see the metal chair he's sitting in. Obviously in front of a green screen. Obviously not a real argument.

  • its kinda sad that people think this was real.

  • This is totally fake, he is on a greenscreen, OR he is 8 feet away from his couch ... :P

  • @jimdidr or on a new inevtion called a stool.

  • @hugeackman Check out what actual low depth of field looks like fake, and combined with the content of the video makes it more plausible. if he is that far from his couch and book case they would be much smaller and the background seems like a still image.

  • @jimdidr yeah, his outline is wierd, but with a high end digital camera it can difficult to tell whats shopped.

the light sources are pretty similar though.

    apologies for snark.

  • @jimdidr 1:23. pause. zoom in on the metal chair. the chair is not only reflecting the wicker in the vase, but if it were reflecting a greenscreen it would not have any curve.

  • I respect Dave a lot more after watching how he deals with the jerk TV reporter.

  • How does Coulier expect to make money or get hired if he insists on being offensive and insulting towards the only people who are interested in him. Beggars can't be choosers.

  • The skit idea was lame, but this makes Coulier look like a dick. Why agree to do the bit, have them come to his house & THEN, while on camera, start being pissy about it & refuse to do it? If this argument is put on for the bit then... still not funny. makes them both look like dicks.

  • What a loser! The reporter, of course.

  • ...

... How the fuck was the original vision of their "funny skit" supposed to be funny?

    "Their names sound similar! LAWL!"

I like Coulier's idea better - just improv some fake facts about Coolio.

  • Comment removed

  • No offense, I'm sure he's a fine guy and all, and it sucks to see anyone get ragged on that bad, but Coulier had that coming. People have put work in on every aspect of this shoot. People, like Coulier, got paid for this. He didn't do what he was paid for, and that tends to piss off people who actually take their jobs seriously. If you were at work, and someone wasn't doing their job properly and just acted like it wasn't a big deal, you'd get pissed off too.

  • The interviewer talks about research, but keeps referring to Coulier as Uncle Jesse. But Uncle Jesse is played John Stamos.

  • @kingkyrt thats the joke. Its staged. The interviewer is Nathan Fielder, a comedian. He is best known for doing interviews with people and making them feel really uncomfortable. Look him up, hes awesome

  • Comment removed

  • mr. narcissist interviewer can't handle the truth about his unfunny premise

  • I think the fine folks of 4chan need to pay this producer/interviewer a visit. Dave Coulier was all-class, all-the-way...Nice job...When I clicked on this link, I thought I would see a video of Coulier going ape-shit over some dipshit interviewer referencing Full-House or Alanis Morrissette....Nice work, DAVE!!!

  • I'm not a Dave Coulier fan by any stretch of the imagination, but the Interviewer was a total douche and out-of-line. Guessing he won't be working for this company for much longer.

  • Umm, this is obviously nathan fielder from This Hour has 22 Minutes. He has done these bits for years now and it is all a joke (which I found hilarious). The idea being that of course doing a bit called "Coulier on Coolio" is ridiculous and unnecessary but the interviewer always plays the part of a completely unaware idiot. Not that americans would attempt to understand actual canadian comedians or anything, and make assumptions.

  • @stevos14 You're right. That's why Canadian comedians have a long history of lacking success in American show business. Then again you said you found this hilarious so I guess you're a retard.

  • @Tim1101 "Canadian comedians have a long history of lacking success in American show business".

A list of very successful Canadian comedians:

Will Arnette, John Candy, Jim Carrey, Michael Cera, Tommy Chong, Michael J Fox, Tom Green, Phil Hartman, Ron Josol, Jon Lajoie, Eugene Levy, Norm MacDonald, Howie Mandel, Lorne Michaels, Colin Mochrie, Rick Moranis, Mike Myers, Leslie Nielson, Catherine O'Hara, Russell Peters, Ryan Reynolds, Seth Rogen, Will Sasso, Martin Short, Harland Williams

  • @oda0550 I was being sarcastic.

  • @stevos14 Well....if this it self was a bit...it too was unfunny like the bit the interviewer wanted Dave to do XD. All they did was argue...in a very normal, calm fashion. All it did was make me think the interviewer was an ass.

  • @stevos14 "This is OBVIOUSLY the comedian from a Canadian TV show that isn't aired outside of Canada. Why can't these stupid Americans recognize him?"

  • @stevos14 As a Canadian I find this terribly offensive. I mean, This Hour has 22 minutes is a terrible show. It's right up there with Air Farce in terms of bland, predictable and weak popular Canadian humour.

Nathan Fielder is a talentless hack who can't handle a little criticism without flipping out like a fourth grader. I hope nobody abroad looks to this guy as a prime example of Canadian comedians. It wouldn't be too far off the mark though.

  • If I was Dave Coulier, I would have beat this dude's ass. Come into my house and try to hit me with some uncle Jesse zingers. Eff you. Producer was a schmuck.

  • lol What a fuckin' asshole.

Good for Dave Coulier for telling them that wasn't funny.

  • Comment removed

  • So who posted this? Is it possible it's the guy doing the interview? (Or else how would he have the footage?) Does he think this makes him look good? Or funny? Regardless of what happened to "ruin" his hilarious bit, he doesn't come off looking good... and certainly not funny. He comes off like a rude petulant douchebag.

  • Dave Coulier is amazing. How dare the producer coming up when he let him INTO HIS HOUSE, insulting and pissing him off like that?? No deceny or manners or anything?? Dave could have had him kicked out or sth else... but didnt. Which makes a difference between manners and respect and matureness... and just ridiculously dumb immature behavior. what a dick.

  • No Coulier sounds like a dick.... Hey, I'll agree to do an interview based on a specific premise, but I"m not going to bother giving you anything other than "he's a rapper".

  • im on the interviewers side.

  • It's UNCLE JOEY!! Sheesh!

  • Who made this? I'd love to make a point to never support them at all. What a terrible way to go about making comedy. Also, Coulier came off pretty classy.

  • fake virual video is fake

  • wow. I am shocked at how many viewers thought this was genuine. Even with the internet, people remain surprisingly innocent. I guess that's kinda nice, actually.

  • How sad, the interviewer really took it personally when Dave didn't find his material funny.

  • Wow, that interviewer should never work again. He is quite the a-hole, and Coulier handled the situation with class

  • I dont know if we need to insult him.. he didn't want to put up with the interviewer.. but he should have been prepared. from the start he looks like he didnt want to do it. but he only says it once they are aready into it? if i were him i would have said this BEFORE the interview started. Even if the crew had already arrived.

  • I'm just saying this.

If the guy keeps calling you Uncle Jesse, don't you think you would've said, "I played Uncle Joey, moron." or something to the effect?

I though this was funny. In all honesty, he should kind of be glad anyone is taking an interest in him like what, 14 years after the end of Full House? And if you don't know him from that, all you know is that Alanis Morrissette got pissed enough at him to write a damn song. Nobody under age 13 knows you, guy. You might want to chill.

  • interviewer = no class. and if he thought what he was doing was funny, yikes. coulier owns that bitch.

  • This is totally fake!

  • If Coulier thought the bit was stupid when it was proposed to him, why did he agree to do it at all?

  • What an absolute jerk the interviewer is. He should be fired for being so disrespectful, honestly. What a dick. Dave did great, and honestly- a bit called Coulier on Coolio is not funny. Nor is making fun of someone's successes from the past like an immature dolt.

  • This is incredibly fake. Couliers bad acting kind of gives it away.

  • The interviewer is justified in his position. He takes it a bit far at the end bud I think he's correct to point out that he is wrong for not preparing. if i were an actor and told to prepare and i showed up unprepared, than why am I even showing up for. But I also understand the other side of the argument so i dont really know how to respond exactly. but that's just my initial feelings and instinct. i laughed though. i laughed at the video. it was funny. but again that's just my opion.

  • Pretty sure the interviewer is Nathan Fielder. A comedian.

  • +5 points to Coulier for keeping his cool. -10 for being a dick about the whole bit and making the crew come over to his house when he didn’t plan on doing what he agreed to do in the first place.

  • Comment removed

  • I can totally see where the interviewer is coming from... Producing a TV show is a ridiculous amount of work, and he probably had a million things to be doing that day. If Dave didn't want to do the bit, it would have been nice to send that in a friggin email or something. think ofthe amount of time invested by show producers getting Coulier's people, camera men, getting to his house, setting up the shot...

That said, the interviewer obviously lost his temper in a completely unprofessional way

  • Give 'em Hell Dave!!!

  • What that interviewer did wasn't very cool-io. Didja see what I did just there?

  • @JBToppersmith that's funnier than what the interviewer came up with.

  • TROLLLLL

This has to be fake. It's hilarious.

  • i din't think that dave Coulier (uncle joey) looked like john Stamos (uncle Jessy). if your gonna interview someone at least know who they are. do your homework next time buddy. you put interviewers all over the world to shame.

  • That interviewer was a complete moron, and he wasn't Uncle Jesse you bag of douche

  • Comment removed

  • At least nobody nearly choked to death from laughing.

  • He shouldn't have agreed to do the piece if he had no intention to doing it the way it, apparently, had been agreed to. That being said, the interviewer sure didn't memorize HIS facts to call him Uncle Jesse. sheesh.

  • @DanaLea73 I think he was joking by calling him Uncle Jesse.

  • I love how the comments here are almost all vindicating Coulier. You don't agree to an acting job, then decide during the interview you don't want to do it.

Wasting people's time like Coulier is doing is disrespectful.

  • @jaypeterman2100 I agree. I don't get what Coulier expected except to upset the guy.

  • Dave=Total Class. Interviewer=Total Ass.

  • interviewer is a total wang. all people deserve respect, not this bullshit

  • what an idiot...the interviewer had no class

  • The interviewer was not funny just a total douche, way to keep your cool dave, i saw how skinny that bitches arms were, you would of tuned him.

  • Wow, the interviewer guy is such a fucking douche.

  • The interviewer is a dick and thinks he's being funny. Dave Coulier comes off like a star for not falling for such an amateur joke.

  • @DavidIvkovic Then why did he agree to do it? Why lie?

  • @DavidIvkovic What's ironic is that the interviewer (producer/writer/director) probably leaked this vid and they're the ones that look like complete assholes, not Dave Coulier. Complete backfire. LMAO

  • C'mon @DavidIvkovic !! Thats the joke. Its staged. The interviewer is a comedian named Nathan Fielder. Like Zach Galifianakis, he interviews people to make them feel really uncomfortable. Look him up, he's pretty fucking awesome.

  • he was uncle joey not uncle jesse....

  • Comedy shows should always tell the person they're trying to be funny, this was probably sprung on him as a surprize...lame joke

  • Much more respect for Coulier after watching this, I wouldn't have kept my temper.

  • Why is he deemed a failure in their eyes because he hasn't gone out and stayed on TV constantly since FH ended?

Not many series actors do go on to continued or repeated success.

Coulier, at the very least, won't ever be what the guys who made this are and always will be... unseen clowns.

I know I've written far more than this video deserves, but this what the world comes to when TMZ gets credibility.

  • Clearly there was some breakdown in communication, as he probably shouldn't have agreed to do a bit he thought was unfunny. But who would think to pitch Coulier on Coolio? Nice use of topical meter.

  • I have to say, I haven't given Dave Coulier much thought over the years, but how on Earth did these guys get access? I thought Coulier was remarkably restrained when they started referring to him by the John Stamos' character from "Full House".

  • Let me guess.....their next stop was JULIO Iglesias’s house.

Way to keep your cool, Cooler.
