  • BIIIIILLLLLLLLLL! : ) We love you man!

  • A man of few words, but profound words they are.

  • What film is this from or documentary, send me a link some one.

  • does he do anything to the photographs to manipulate the colour?

  • i never got why people thought him takin a pic of a light bulb or some old granny on a bench was art/amazin but he was photographyin ugly stuff , i get it now! time to photograph my an*s in b/w

  • I wish I could stand in some totally bland non de script parking lot and make photographs worthy of The Museum of Modern Art.

  • absolutely great - he is treal The Master

  • when will this film be released?

  • The film is available on DVD.

  • Nice photos.

  • What camera is he using?

  • Usually he is photographing with Leicas

  • @ReinerFilm

    So What!

  • @ReinerFilm noooooooooooooooooooooo he's not. Absolutely not. He uses a Contax G2 typically.

  • @whyareyouatriangle Yes you are right. In the picture it is the Contax. But he uses different cameras not only one, mostly Leicas.

  • @ReinerFilm actually as stated by fuchs77 the camera in this clip is a Leica with motordrive, this is clearly seen at 0:12 , I also just watched this entire documentary and he only uses this camera. However he is seen using a Contax G2 along with a few several other cameras in another documentary ("William Eggleston in the Real World")

  • @whyareyouatriangle not in this case . this is a Leica M with motor drive. That can be seen on 0:14 (Contax does not look like that). In addition he uses a Contax G2, Leica R5 or Mamiya Press

  • @mplayer98 as per 0:10 on , a Leica MP "anti-Panda" (ie black body, chrome fitments), probably á la carte custom made one, fitted with a chrome Voigtländer Nokton 35/1.2 and black hood, and an older M- motor drive (probably an "M4-2 Motordrive").

  • @fuchs77 actually to nit pick it's probably an á la carte M7, or custom M6TTL as there's a Red Dot logo seen on the same camera later in the documentary that this clip is taken from.

  • WithOut a Doubt One Of The Fucken Legendz.

    Thanks William Eggleston

  • Damn! U r right - he is unbelievable master!
