  • my dad had that blue car as a kid, except it was red

  • @Mrnissanleaf That's cool! Redlines could be released in around 6-8 different colors.

  • Cool! I didn't know that. I gotta see which cars of mine are Redlines! Thanks for the info!

  • @marshbjuneb22 Redlines are cool. Thanks for watching!

  • Thanks Karl or Carl

  • @SILVERHORSE347 Yes, Carl. Thanks for watching!

  • great info!

  • That's interesting! I was wondering why I could never find an original redline with perfectly straight axles.

  • @gilnov Well, now you know! Thanks for watching!

  • is that red noodlehead splittin?

  • @HWcollector707 it has a red line around the wheel.

  • How do i know if i have a redline cause i just picked up 7 vintage old looking hotwheels

  • @HWcollector707 If you watched this video, you will learn what Vintage Redlines look like.

  • @racegrooves i have like 2 redlines

  • that early hot wheel inside story was good!!! Did not know that.

  • @driftkaztik Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoyed my Inside Story on original Redlines.

  • I have a ferrari in my collection with nickel-plated axis supposedly making it faster on downhill racing. And it does! Wins almost all the time in my 4 lane downhill racetrack

  • @MRJStudios2010 Yes, most Ferrari models also have metal bodies and bases which makes them heavier. Couple that with the FTE axles and you have a contender!

  • @racegrooves woops, i meant to say axles not axis sorry

  • @MRJStudios2010 I knew what you meant =)

  • did you get the cars back togaver or did you have to bin tham???

  • @Lionferrari777 I gave Carl's back and he keeps it in his case. I keep mine in a Jammer, a plastic 48-car case.

  • neat-o..so there isn't a hemi inside

  • Really enjoy the inside story videos.

  • @JVARGAS513 Thank you! I have more Inside Story videos planned but then again, I have lots of videos planned LOL!

  • very informative mark......i learn alot from all you guys...thanks for enlightning me....

  • @heathkinn You're welcome!

  • That was cool Mark. Tell Carl, your fans said thanks !

  • @TheMasterLoafer I told Carl. He hasn't got a chance to watch the two videos yet but if he doesn't watch them soon, I'm going to make him watch them on my cellphone during lunch!

  • nice vid and cool cars tell carl there great cars

  • @Rhodey360 I Told him - Thanks Rhodey!

  • @racegrooves it's the truth

  • So carl's car has differential suspension and the other one has straight axle suspension. Very cool

  • @matchboxfireEMS I am glad that I had the three cars to show you guys the Inside Story =)

  • Do an inside story on diesel Duty!

  • I love the bounce in the old redlines. I have an old Bye Focal, and it's springy as heck. Not sure what the axle looks like.... The bent axle is wild looking. Thanks Mark! :)

  • @icollectstuffdude You're welcome!

  • It was a way to show a better suspention than MBX at that time. Then it was the strait one piece axle with the metal plate across holding both axles. Like the pink plastic piece. And last the crimped one as we know today. Great video Mark. Thanks for bringing memories LOL.

  • @betoyvette Hmmm, that reminds me. I have a box of junkers. I'm sure I can find an old Matchbox candidate for an Inside Story!

  • Great information!

  • @diecastracerx Thanks amigo!

  • I love the suspension feature.

  • @hossi74 Yes, the RLC has tried to recreate the process but the cars have a terrible time rolling straight.

  • @racegrooves Cool story Grooves! It would be awesome if they brought back the bent axles on a few cars!

  • @jmstanza The Redline Club at HotWheelsCollectors has some models with the bent-axle suspension but I don't keep track of which ones have it and which don't. And I'm not going to drill open a $20 to find out!

  • very cool video

  • @waspspray Thanks =)

  • @OSKARIUKS Sorry but does that car come in green?

  • @megacomicbooknerd i think it does

  • @megacomicbooknerd yes it does here is some coulorways from hw wiki Spectraflame Light Green

    Spectraflame Green Spectraflame Red

  • Comment removed

  • @megacomicbooknerd Nope, I don't have any redline Twin Mills.

  • they should bring back the bent axles, like a spcial series for those kinds of axles ! for collectors !

  • @MegaAwsomeStudios They have tried to recreate the bent-axle suspension on some of the HotWheelsCollectors Redline Club cars. I'm not so sure that they were able to do it very well like they did in the 60's.
