  • still up for sale?

  • whats the fps?

  • are hi capa mags different sized from normal 1911 mags?

  • Yes they are. You can chose to use either the WE or Tokyo Marui brand hi-capa magazines in your gun.

  • ITS NOT A REPLICA ITS A VARIANT!

  • nice, look at mine its silver, full metal with blowback and all that its all in description

  • does this have threads for a silencer?

  • Barell Threads are not a stock feature, but I'm positive someone makes aftermarket suppressor adaptors for the Marui model that will fit on here.

  • yes search it on google shopping it is onlt 20 buks.

  • is WE china?

  • Yes it is.

  • No, it is from Taiwan

  • D'oh! You caught me! Ignore my above post. genewx is right.

  • made in taiwan

  • how much for it?

  • airsoftcraze(dot)com had it on sale for 65$ with a green gas mag not sure if the sale is still goin on though (just bought one myself)

  • i have a problem with my grip safety.. ur supposed to press it to be able to shoot ryte? well... mine shoots without having to press it down... any suggestions?

  • lol ur camera makes it sound like u have a lisp

  • try the tokyo marui hi capa 5.1, investigations found out that it doesn't have as much problems as the WE one.

Do I just lube the outside of the barrel?

  • Yup, I went with the WE because it was a bit less expensive, but my personal reccomendation, now that I own one, is to save up a little bit more and buy the Marui. Besides being overall a more reliable replica, the marui's hopup system is absolutely epic! The only downfall to the marui is the plastic construction which means you have to either use blue gas (HFC134a)buy a duster gas adapter, or buy a metal slide for it.

No, you do not just lube the inside of the gun.

  • you could actually buy a 5.1 or 4.3 custom. they have a metal slide and a lot of the things like the rear sight and the barrel and the guide rod have been changed.

  • where do you get blue gas?

  • isnt there a silver version too?

  • yep their is the silver version is epic compared to the black

  • try airsplat, i got ti there for 94.95, and the co2 is 50 sents, so i got 40

  • airsoftcraze(dot)com had this gun with a green gas mag on sale for 65$ a few weeks ago try that

  • what is the difference between the goverment model and the normal one????

  • to be honest, I don't think there is a normal one :P

  • how long have u had it

  • a year yesterday.

Had a hopup problem come up, but that's it.

  • dude.i have the same exact class ring.

  • haha! cool!

  • how much is the gun

  • anywhere from $90-$115 depending on where you look.

  • you dont call it "we" you call it "W-E", and the point of the mag release is to be easy to release but really, you shouldnt be resting anything on it, its easy to release so you dont have to push hard and yank out a mag to reload

  • Is this the gun that is currently listed as "WE High Capa 5.1 Ver 5 Full Metal GBB" on AirSplat for $95? If so, do you know if the C02 cartridges they sell fit into the gun?

  • I believe it is, however, and If you buy Co2 cartridges they will work in the gun, however, you will need to buy the special CO2 mag. I would actually advise against it. CO2 is more expensive than just buying propane and a propane adapter. That's the route I went with, and it's very very inexpensive. Make sure you buy silicon oil, too!

  • thats not a 1911 replica...

    its a 1911/.45 mix...

    just saying

yeah... i'd agree grate gun but its a friggen gas hog.

  • lol wtf 1911/.45 mix are you fucking retarded a .45 is a bullet hence the 1911 uses it. and yes its just a 1911 with some different features witch you could buy in real life.

  • I realise it's is not a Pure 1911. A true 1911 would be a single stack. however, for all intesnive purposes, it is a 1911, especially considering it's an airsoft replica.

  • It's a replica of STI 2011, a newer verision of the 1911.

  • an extreamly easy way to fix that mag release prob you were toking about is to unscrew the screw on the right side of the frame that holds the mag release in place, strech the spring out a litte bit, and then put it back together.

  • Great Bit of info. Thanks!

  • no prob, i usually do that w/ all my guns, even if they are tight already.

  • What is the max range that you can consistantly hit a can?

    Thanks,

    -Mike

  • Well, a can, with my poor aim,I could probably hit consistantly at about 30-40 ft.

  • why is your name cpdude2?

why must you have cp in your name?

  • Haha. If you must know, one of my other hobbies is rollercoasters. I'm a huge Cedar Point fan and go there all the time on a season pass. I've grown out of it a bit and have become more involved with airsoft.

  • whats the difference with the Gov model and the standard one?

  • I'm not 100% sure, but I beleive the "gov." was just something to fill in the space in the name from the 5.1 "Dragon" series, which is the same thing as this, but with a cut-up slide.

  • sell it to me if u dont use it or if it breaks

  • The sound quality is pretty bad and it hurt your ears but else good review :)

  • Yeah, It's a cheap little $60 camera I got for my birthday... Hopefully should be using my dad's soon (much better)

  • does your grip safety still work anwser back

  • yes the grip safety works fine. It has gotten a little bit wobbly with use, but I only noticed it after I held a friend's brand new one...
