  • Draw ANIME!!! :DDD

  • That kanji looks a Umbrella Hahaha

  • you put in the description it's not perfect ?! it's like 172x better than mine!

  • you spelled konichiwa in the beggining right? i'm learning japanese...

  • such a pretty language....I would like to learn...

  • This was 3 years ago and you're handwriting is probably WAY better now (if you're still going, that is), but some of those kana are just a mess - specifically あ う え お こ そ (と looks kinda funny too). I know it sounds mean, but if your writing is still like that after 3 years, you really oughtta work on it.

Sorry for sounding like a douche but I know that if there was some aspect of my Japanese that sucked, I'd like to be able to improve it. Maybe make a video of your handwriting now to compare?

  • I hope you've realized by now that that's not a hiragana う (u) but a katakana ラ (ra) xD

  • are the pics chinese too?like kanji i heard they are pics.im a beginner im just learning trying to find the difference between them all.but it looks pretty.

  • some of the hiragana shouldnt be connected to each other. their supposed to be serperate. like "sa" and "ki" but other than that, it looks pretty x]

  • la la la la la Umbrella? XD

  • Okey to all you all noobs out there, in japanese it isnt any TI! Its CHI! And he/she didn't really spell anything in kanji :3 so it doesnt matter really. Its arigatou I did the same thing as I started ありがとう, but it doesnt matter at all!!!! こんにちは! :3 さようなら。。。。

  • @pivotair Actually, 'ti' and 'chi' are the same thing - different Romanisations. Also, 'si' and 'shi' are the same. While 'chi' and 'shi' are 100x more common, 'ti' and 'si' aren't really "wrong", as such.

  • you should type KONNNITIHA

  • you misspelled konnichiwa and arigatou

  • you misspelled konnichiwa

  • whats the third picture you drew

  • high five!!!!!!! me is begginer too

  • how long have u bn studying n how? lol if u dnt mind me asking, i hv to strt studying their alphabet n etc cuz im going there once i graduate high school nd need to kno all i can

  • how can i know ur not writing just random stuff?!?!?! hmmm....xDDDD

    hahahhaha just kidding

  • あなたは本当に良いです!あなたは、不正行為はなかった限り!良い仕事をしてください!

  • Terrific !!!

    あなたの崩し書きは大便です。

  • genki desu ka?

im just trying to remeber this ;) so random

  • かわいい! Hey, what's the title of the background song? It's sounds beautiful and relaxing to me. Why didn't you finish the kana? :D

  • @vinfrere "Hey There Delilah" by The Plain White T's

  • @vinfrere hay thare "Hey There Delilah

  • uh... "konichiwa" is actually spelt "konichiha" in japanese but the "ha" is pronounced "wa." confusing but true

  • @ABisopht Then i guess every book I've read directly from japan, and on the internet, is just a huge-mass typo eh? ( My dad's from japan, and he brought back to books.

  • nice ! : D I got it all :b .... you were starting to draw the umbrella and I was like " kasa ?" and then you finished and I said " kasa!" x33

  • SORRY!!!but you can not write japanese well-----there are stroke orders which you don't know and konnichiwa is not ko n i chi wa, it is ko n ni chi wa because kon=now, nichi=day, wa=subject particle-------->so you get kinda thing like "today is".....but it means good day or something formal like that.

  • ありがとう。

    not what you wrote

  • you suck man

    i hope you kept practicing

  • hahaha yo escribo mejor k vos xP

  • how do the japan's typ if they have all of those carater's...

  • Well, they have a different keyboard....

  • ......ohh.......ill look it up....

  • @lee0495 haha, they use the same keyboard.

    平仮名 カタカナ 路馬路 漢字

  • how did you do that? :O

  • @hadytights Easy I'm using the tool include in Win7for white Japanese characters, like the japanese people do.

  • thats so cool!(:

  • practice 2

  • ^ ^ With more practice you'll have the writing down in no time. I did notice though that your strokes were in the wrong order for "o", "ka", "ko" and "se."

  • What are you writing in English?

  • @BassGirl818 First Row is the Vowels - A, I ,U,E,O next row is ka,ki,ku,ke,ko Next is sa,shi,su,se,so Then ta, chi, tsu, te, to

Under the umbrella it says Kasa = which is a japanese Umbrella

    Under 8:15 Asa

    The Black cylinder thing- Sushi

  • Hah hah, black cylinder thing xD

    That made me laugh.

  • Yeah should have just said Sushi roll but w/e lol :P

  • lol the お looks like a backwards は

  • anybody fluent in japanese????

  • Nice hand writing

I have horrible hand writing, and I'm used to ABC so it'll be even more difficult to not make mistakes.

I've live in the US since I was born, and I can't even write an "e" without making it look look like a laughing head.

  • how do you write "e" to look like a laughing head? xD

  • i mastered hiragana but almost mastered katakana. so im also learning about kanji soon... ^^

  • i cant help but notice but ur あ seems a little odd.....just my opinion....maybe its just the camera

  • kawaii, that so cool, do you use normal pen like us, or....0_o poor knowledge, I really love to learn japanese, but since I get used to write ABC, it look difficult to me

  • it's ha but it's pronounce as wa if it's not together with the word right??

  • can you use just hiragana/katakana or you have to use kanji too?? cuz im confuse some sentences have mix kanji and hiragana

  • looks cool... =)

  • It is こんにちは (今日は)

    Not こんいちは

  • pretty horrible writing but you will get better :P

  • Yeah.

I don't even care about Japanese writing anymore. I've moved on to more interesting things.

  • @itsonthetab What have you moved on to? I like your unique handwriting. Mine is very bad and my friend's (( who is 1/4 japanese )) is BLOCKISH... :)

  • @sorcress18 Just other hobbies. I kinda lost my interest in Japan and stuff.

  • i love the sushi you wrote in the end!!

you forgot a U on arigato..

    it should be arigatou..

  • thats ok!!!

    i understand you too...

    i am also studying hiragana...

im from philippines, nice to meet you!!

  • がんばれ!!

  • writing with the hirangana chart is harder than the katakana i study Katakana

    Hirangana-あいうえお

    Katakana-アイウエオ

  • that's a lot better than what i can do, i just never have time to study often XD

  • hey check out my vid of meh writing in japanese! Your vid is cool!

  • wow im only 11 and im learning

you do pretty well for a beginner!

    Ja, mata! (see you again)!

  • cool. i wish i cud learn :(

  • nicely done, you just missing the stroke order for some of the characters, I've learned them in a few hours using a book called "Remembering the Hiragana and Katakana", I would def recommend it, good job....ganbatte ne!

  • Yep. It should. It's likely that most people who started out with the romaji would write konnichiwa with the わ instead of the は.

  • So then, it's konnichiHA instead of konnichWA?

  • No. When it's romanized, it still remains as konnichiwa. That's good because that's how it's supposed to be pronounced anyway.

  • Thats becuase of when WA is a particle is writed は instead of わ

    For example

watashi wa gustabo desu is writen

    わたしがグスタボです

  • Do you need a special pen?

  • no not really anything will do. pencile, fine point pen that donesn't smear alot paint anything,^_^ paint is kinda hard to use for writing though

  • j'adore it!!!

  • um... its j'adore ca... btw the reason there is no circonflexe below the "c" is because my crappy keyboard cant show accents

  • chill. i dont take french i take latin. its okay haha. but thanks though....

  • ferme ta putain bouche........

  • どういたしまして!

  • dou ita shimashite? wat does that mean?

  • どういたしまして

     means You're welcome!

And its usually pronounced dou itashimashte. ^____^

  • Hey I know this is annoying but I figured you should know anyways. You're writing the letters as the computer has them. For instance your "sa" should have three strokes, whereas a computer would write it as two -- there should be a disconnect between the top part and the bottom. It's fine you're still learning, but now you know.

  • Mmkay. Thanks.

  • Wow, just from watching aiueo you stuffed up the letter a, and i ( i looks like ri ) and u looks like Katakana ra and e is okay. but o looks like Yo with a longer line and a dot..

  • Sorry, I'm just a beginner.

  • can you write my son in Japaneses i would be very greatful :) his name is 'LESLIE SOAR' i liked your video aswell nice music

  • Resurie soaru is how it can be spelled in english, but in japanese il get back to you, i don't have fonts turned on :(

  • umm... it would be resurii sooru actually

  • i just started learning how to write today...and i started learning i to speak last week...it's so hard

  • I just finished taking Japanese beginner in college and my teacher is very strict about handwriting. A slight deformation in the letters will cost you a mark. Seeing you practice run, just want to say that you need a lot of work. I don't want to be mean but my friend writes like that and failed his exams, then actually dropped out. Konnichiwa and Arigato are spelled wrong. Its こんにちわ and ありがとう

  • こんにちは (sorry, made a mistake)

  • Nono.. It's んにちわ. Never trust google translator

  • actually, it's "は" not "わ", but the "は" is always pronounced as "wa" if it's used as a topic marker in a sentence. kinda weird huh? i learned that from my japanese class.

  • umm... y do u have "n" at the beginning of the word?

  • I don't.

  • Good job. Alot of the stroke order was wrong and some of your hiragana were based off of computer graphics(your sa(さ) and ki(き)-- there needs to be a disconnection. There are 3 strokes in さ and 4 strokes in き), but don't give up! Keep trying! 5/5

Always nice to see people learning japanese :)

  • you spelt konnichiwa wrong and some of your letters were really deformed, but other than that good job :D dont give up :D its actually a pretty easy language once you get into it

  • I'm a beginner too.

    Doesn't "ka" have separate lines?

  • I think Hiragana is pretty! Its easy to recognize! spidery looking...delicate

  • is that a sharpie????? ROFL :P

Anyway i think that you write pretty good in Japanese better than me anyways.......sigh, but your keystrokes were right and i liked the music. Is this your first year of Japanese?

  • oh and hey, do japanese really even the columns out? what if the words need to be finished out? because by the way you're doing it,

    i w u d l o l k t i

    t o l l o k i e h s

or can words be finished so

    i l l t

    t o i h o k i k e s s

sorry but i'm a beginner, and no sources seem to go in-depth on this... s

  • augh, the commenting system was made so that there can be no space before a letter-what i mean for the second part (about words being finished) is that

    c i l l t

    a t o i h

    n - o k i

    - - k e s

  • WOW you're handwriting and drawing of the characters is not only accurate, but very legible, easy to understand, and nice in the way of appearance!

you also do it in a nice speed, i write at a ridiculously slow pace. did you memorize the characters? i have only memorized about three!

  • I wish I could write in japanese

  • i can and write and speak some japanese!!!!!!!! konnichiwa, ogenki desu ka? yeah my friend and i r learning it. the language and the people and everything about japan is AMAZZINNGGGGG.

  • I like that music. すてきな おんがく です。

  • Thanks, it's called, "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's. :D

  • Hi I am Japanese. I thought that your Japanese writing was very good and beautiful.

  • Sooo cool! I wish I could write in a different language!

  • Wow. nice..
