We should be teaching kids (and adults) how to be even better at this.

Disciplines aren't really a mental disease, not in the way I think of them. Carlin's comedy is a discipline for example. Pride definitely is though.

Carlin is a great Comedian, however i disagree on the pride thing. Pride is what helps us achieve greatness. He said you shouldn't be proud unless you achieve greatness. People who have done great things in life did them by having pride and confidence in themselves.

I don't think that even the most evangelical christian would say George Carlin did nothing with his life. He sure as hell (doesn't exist) influenced me and many more alike. The man was not only keen and quick but intelligent and the only bullshit he was dishing out was the bullshit that he made fun of.
Oh and it must suck to be so deluded as to think pride can come from anywhere but accomplishment.
