I got word that the company (high impact) are the ones who made this game. they bought the characters and some storyline off of the jak games. I saw in someone elses comment in a different vid that the scenery on one of the pics was from ratchet and clank. High impact are the makers of ratchet and clank so thats why this game is sort of like it. So theres the answer for wolfsword69master.

Same here. The game doesn't look horrible but it just seems too different. But I'm glad that they are trying to mix it up a bit and I'm obviously going to try this game. They did pretty well with Daxter (Game) so this might have that new thing. Also I'm glad that a new Jak and Daxter came out. Hopefully the next one is for the PS3!

You guys are overreacting. High Impact Games does a fine job. It'd be more of the same if there were same enemies over and over, the Sky Pirates are cool enough to handle bad dudes position. This game looks great on every note, its not the same thing over and over. Instead of Dark Jak for once, its Dark Daxter. The only thing bad is..Jak's voice changed & Jak doesn't have his goatee anymore...
