If you get ooccoo in a temple, then leave the temple without using ooccoo to warp out, you automatically get ooccoo's note. When you re-enter the temple, ooccoo's note goes away.
You can only get ooccoo in temples you have not completed yet. The temples you can get ooccoo are Forest, Goron Mines, Lakebed, Arbiter's Grounds, Snowpeak Ruins, City in the Sky. Ooccoo is not in Palace of Twilight or Hyrule Castle.
If you get ooccoo in a temple, then leave the temple without using ooccoo to warp out, you get ooccoo's note. When you go back inside the temple, ooccoo returns to you and ooccoo's note disappears. Ooccoo's note is actually pointless and doesn't really do anything.
No, same capture card. I figured out why some of my vids are decent quality, and why some of my vids have crappy quality. Something about this capture card doesn't like a lot of movement. The more I move, the worse the quality gets. Also, if the lighting is too high, it will look far worse, especially if I'm moving. I had made a couple of Mario Kart Wii vids that I deleted (because they sucked), and the quality was horrible because of all the movement.
No, I'm talking about in between the time from when you pull out ashei's sketch(or whatever time it is) to when the game crashes, when you have a few seconds to move around, if you managed to save the game in that time.
If you save at any time, the glitch ends. Before you crash the game it says "throw" on the screen when nothing is actually in your hand. If you save, you can't crash the game afterwards, and have to do the glitch all over again. I'm not sure if that answers your question...but saving the game at any time while doing this ends the glitch.
I edited the vid info. It has a weblink to my other video where I crashed the game using a bottle. It explains a lot in the info. But 2 things are certain so far...to crash the game, you must either have a broken sign piece (that you hold in one hand) or a dog bone.
That is the other thing I should have mentioned. Obviously, crashing the game happens when it says "Throw" and you press A while nothing is actually in your hand. It won't say "Throw" anymore if you pull out ANY item in your inventory, or go and talk to someone, or swim, or get on Epona, or open a door...
Well, I can only crash in 3 places. Ordon, Kakariko, and Castle town. In Ordon and Kakariko, the only way to crash the game is to have a broken sign piece in your hand. In Castle town, the only way to crash the game is to have a dog bone in your hand. So, none of those spots are actually near a cutscene trigger are they?
No, it doesn't work. Link must be holding an item in only one hand. And the only items I can think of that meet that criteria are broken sign pieces and the dog bone in castle town. And the only places I think you can break a sign into pieces are in Ordon and Kakariko.
You can't warp or save after crashing the game. But, if you mean warping or saving after using Ashei's sketch or Ooccoo's note when Link has a broken sign piece or dog bone in his hand just before crashing the game...nothing out of the ordinary happens.
howd u discovery this? oO

Press A to throw (the game's programming into hell).

Wait, so what exactly is happening? How is your game crashing? All I see is you pull out the note and then the game freezes. Why?
Dr0sik 1 year ago
@Dr0sik search "broken sign + bottle = crash the game" and read the description. I explain how to do this glitch.

Nice find, as always.
The video seems high quality, did you get a new thingy?

Yeah that pretty much does it. I was just thinking maybe it might screw up your save file a bit, but i guess not.

@TheJuiceJuice crash never screw up your sf unless you were saving and it crashed

It works with refilling lantern oil too

I made a video using a bottle a couple of weeks ago. I used water, then I used a fairy. It works with anything in a bottle.

Indeed...It doesn't work if you get on epona afterwards though.

Shouldn't it work with a rock? One of the big ones that doesn't break when you throw it?

In EMS you could do it for the taming Epona cutscene if you warp to Kakariko after after the Goron scene, but I don't see what would happen...
