Ok. This guy may not be the "best picker in the world" (a matter of personal preference anyway). What he is, is a decent man trying to help some people grow in their music. Your negativity is a sad comment on just who you are. It's about people coming together to learn and grow with each others help. I have sat with people who were not on my playing level  who have given me a twist on a song that I would never have come up with. I thank them all. Have fun it's called "playing" for a reason!

The negative comments are stupid. The lessons are about technique, not tone !

I dont think the original bluegrass players back in the mountains worried about tone,

they were too busy picking and having fun !
