I have and trap hogs on my property and the other day I had one in the trap and it started squealing and about 5 charged me but I put my semi-auto 30-06 to dem things and they dropped

Nothing wrong with using a .44 mag.It's more humane to use too much gun and kill the animal quickly, than to use too small of a gun and have to shoot the animal repeatedly to get the job done.

I used a 41mag. Pointed and angled as to hit the brain and heart. The die fast. Tried a 380, didn't work as well.

When you shoot a pig that's how you do it. A close range shot to the head or right behind its shoulder (where its heart and lungs are located) kills it instantly so it does not have to suffer.
