I hope you understand that this is a studio, that means that it's more than one person. Each member of the team has his own expertise, that's the power of a studio :). Furthermore, they have insane hardware (in consumer terms) installed.

Even if there are only 2 people - though I will admit that I expected there to be more - I still assume that they do use professional hardware. Your mac or home pc won't pull some of the renderings on a time efficient level. Now I might be underestimating computing power, but it seems to me that you need a fair bit of power to pull off these fluid simulations.
