I think A Night At The Opera is by far their best, but even a bad Marx Brothers movie is still a pretty decent and watchable movie with several funny parts. I like Horsefeathers too for some reason.
Horsesfeathers has actually become my new favorite as of late, lol. Not entirely sure why either, but I feel like in some ways it's even more anarchic than Duck Soup, hehe.
Precious moment from a not-too-tremendous Marx Brothers movie. Close photo finish as to whether this song or "Hello, I Must Be Going" (from "Animal Crackers") is the one most associated with Groucho. Honorable mention to "I'm Against It," from "Horsefeathers." Plus songs he sang at that show at Carnegie Hall in 1974, a superb live performance. Can't squeeze the man's immense talents into 500 words or less, so I'll stop there.

Lyrics by "Yip" Harburg, the author of all the Wizard of Oz songs. Wow!

I was initially disapointed with At the Circus and turned it off, it really wasn't up to the standards of their earlier films.
But as many fans have said, their later films may not have been great movies, but they had great moments like this. :)

I heard this song was played at Jim Henson's funeral. How awesome is that?
theboombody 2 years ago 2
Yup, it was sung at Jim Henson's memorial service by Kevin Clash (in Elmo's voice, which was perfect lol).
Kermit also did a great rendition on The Muppet Show years before, wonder if Groucho ever saw it!

The Marx Bros. had better movies than "At the Circus," but this movie was funny, and I do love this song.
