  • Questa canzone è bellissima! Grazie dave101ita!

Comunque scusa dell'errore

  • Can't wait for the cd. Thanks for the post

  • Bon Jovi copied Bon Jovi. Another :58 I was expecting the power C chord on guitar.

  • q cancion tan rara jeje

    pero me gusta

    sera la version original???

  • is this the original or the acoustic version?

  • Acoustic version

  • OK Thanks man. can't wait till 10 november.

  • Bass line sounds like Livin on a prayer. Actually it's like a dark version.

    Where's the band?

  • that is so true this time of these days where jobs are very scarce to find and if you have a job work it because finding another one is very hard we are having a rough time these days it is worse then when they released the song dry country people wake up there are people in the USA hungry and need a job not just a help up but something to work for

  • what do you mean with funny man??????

  • I WANT THE CD

  • bellissimaaaa!

  • bon jovi is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • livin on a prayer riff at start?!

  • I like it. Very strong lyrics. We need more musicans with a massage like that in their songs. Not this stupid rap stuff all the time.

i'm exited to hear the bands version

  • livin on a prayer's dark side

  • Very funny man.......

  • thanks for uploading and lyrics

  • ur mother likes to suck black cocks night and day! shes a woking lady of the night some say!

  • very good song

  • this is very cool - i love it. Funny (and neat) the main verse riff/theme is almost exactly the same as Living on a Prayer's riff....

  • Yeah, it;s released worldwide on Nov 10.

  • Does anybody know if The Circle will be released in Uk and Ireland on NOv.10 too??? Really can't wait!!!!!

  • if bon jovi was the working man... well definitely ,i'll work for him.. and that's for sure.. can't wait for nov 10...

  • Love it, can't wait for the new album, we love you Jon

  • this is jon at his greatest and anybody who thinks otherwise should not have a youtube acount because whatever music they listen too must realy suck compared to jon bon jovi and his band

  • At the beginning it sounds like "Living on a prayer"

  • o...m...GAWD!!!! I love you Jon and Tico and Ritchie and Alec(even though he left) and David...oh sweet David... LOVE YOU AND YOUR MUSIC ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just Wait till you hear this on the album The Circle..The Boys Are Back !!!

  • when we hear playing this song all the band, will sound better

  • this is acoustic though, u dotta here the original version

  • To all you doubters out there, did you ever hear the original 'Last Man Standing?' Good song anyway but then they reworked it for the album. The same is gona happen with this song. If you're watching this video you're watching the King of rock 'n' roll and should show some damn respect!!

  • You are right!!!!! I like this way too...

  • agreed!

  • i really agree with JoWinterchild that it's no new ideas but i think the song i quite good anyway :)

  • is this song terrible???i don't think so...this is so ordinary ...this is jon!!!!!!!!!

  • this song is terrible, no new ideas, nothing.

    such a shame...

  • similar intro :-)

  • search and compare:

"bon jovi livin' on a prayer MTV unplugged 2008 live"

  • sounds good, whens the new album out?

  • Very beautiful! I hope both in the new album!

  • agreed, very ordinary! which is a real shame, theres nothing memorable about it whatsoever. which is normally a bon jovi trademark, sounds as though it was written in a hurry to cash in on the economic downfall. (which its probably not but it just sounds like it was)

  • It's good that such a voice and personality defends workers, remember tommy and gina ("union's been on strike, it 's down on his luck, it's tough, so tough")

  • this is a message to industry captains, bankers and economics leaders! great!

  • this song's so damn ordinary!!!

  • Can't wait to hear the album version.

  • hey

  • woww!!! YEAHH!..

  • es hermosooooooo!!!! mas lindo de ahi la mama no podia hacer!!!! papitirrummmmmmmmm!!!!

  • the intro sounds like 'living on a prayer'

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds good cant wait for 10th november. Bon jovi no1

  • If you want to take a nap,

If you want to say good-bye,

If you want to love the times you cry,

If you want to pay a favor to a friend,

If you want to desire something better for humanity,

If you want to feel really fuckin' alive...

    ...Listen to Bon Jovi.

  • when was this?

  • Awesome 5 ******

    Love it Terry !!

  • Awsome as always his voice is so sexy : )

  • i think this is a great song by a great band long like bon jovi

  • his voice is sooo different from back in the golden 80's

    not bad...just different :]

actually sounds kinda like he's singing from his nose...sorry jon!

  • wow!

    This is really awesome!

This is just as good as we werent born to follow! This new albums gonna be REAL good!

    BON JOVI 4EVA

  • sounds a little like Blaze of Glory, but different.

  • in the intro the bass line is the same as the intro in living on a prayer...

  • just about to say that

  • its the same notes but a different rythmic pattern

  • I love when Jon sings acoustic songs. I love how mellow he gets. It's sexy. I really like the new single that BJ has out. It rocks.

  • album have a nice day was great... they shouldn't do any softer than that...

  • Not bad. At least its not cheesy like lost highway. Quite dissapointed though cos his albums get softer n softer.

  • i think its ok

  • Its kinda cool.

Not used to hearing him do acoustic but this and we werent born to follow are cool

  • Great!

We need artist to give a stimulative and instructive messages to people!

  • why does the beginning of the song sound like the intro from 'Living on a prayer'?

  • oh my god~

what do so many people have against Lost Highway~

It wasn't the best album from Bon Jovi but still very good

And also Have a nice day was not bad at all~

If you think you can do it better than Bon Jovi go out there and start a band and write 13 ALBUMS~

go out there, get as many fans as Bon Jovi and sell more than 100MILLION CD's

    BON JOVI 4EVER

  • good advice for you mpatterson100 ... sell as much records as bon has - then we will see ...

you know what's funny - you jerks spent time listening to songs you don't like and then you write highly qualified comments like these ...

  • word of adivce bon - go back to your rock roots and play songs that are fun to listen to. lost highway = epic fail

have a nice day = goodish

    its my life = success

  • Bounce number 1

    Hava a nice day 2

    lost highaway 3

    crush 4

But they are good album after all.

  • well at least its better than shitey lost highway

  • my dad heard this b4 me and said it was crap i have 2 completly disagree

  • but bare in mind it aint the band so they mite of changed it a wee bit, anywho i still like it

  • Jon always had a feeling for the inequality. Not exactly socialist, but I believe he can relate

  • Jon and the boys have always had a heart for the regular guy!! Can't wait for the album to be released.

  • This man has had his share of hard times and thats why he can relate to them, especially in the early years of BJ. I t touches me how he sings this song, remembering how he gave two houses away rather than make a video, and thus continues to donate and help charities and there are folk out there who think of him as a rich rock star with no money worries. This man has more heart and soul than any other rock star, apart from Bono, that I can name. It's time to take your hat off to this guy!!

  • <3

    can't wait the album

  • Hey, this is more like it Bon Jovi. A great song. I am looking forward to the new 'circle' album if this is on it.

  • I love bon jovi...

    but this... rather weak...

    over dramatic with the violin...

and seems a very unemotional song... can he really be feeling these things he sings of? he is a rockstar... he is rich, it just seems ironic that he singing about work and following dreams... when he has lived out his dreams already... and doesnt really need to 'work' anymore... hmmm

  • Or maybe he hasn't? And just cause you're famous doesn't mean you don't see what's going on, you might not actually feel it, like the people who are suffering, but you still see.

  • maybe your right...but maybe you should think about that there may be people out there that don´t always think just about themselves.

  • I don´t think so, I think that this song it´s great, they are 40 years old or more they already work hard when they were young, they are great, I think this song has a great meaning.

  • so intense john lovo joanna

  • I dont get it....Maybe beacuse is new...but the bigining sounds like livin on a prayer acoustic(the violin) I hope Dave's performance could make better this song....

  • Maybe, i like the song, but it´s kind of sad, he is not singing about the American dream this time, he is singing about bad time, and there is always hope at the end of the tunnel, like he always said.

  • good good xx

  • yo creo q va a tener bastante coraje.

  • Jon is 47 born on March 2, 1962 silly!

  • Cant wait for the new album and hopefully a tour :O be my 3rd time seeing them.

id much rather go back to the 80's and see them though lol

i dont think this song sounds like living on a prayer, its no where near as good.

  • These guys are great.

Do anyone know what the names of the other songs on the new album are?

(sry if my english werent that good)

  • the new single We Weren't Born to Follow will by on the new alubm ( named the Circle)

  • hes not 50 oO

    hes 47

  • the album version will not be acoustic, full electric. the circle is gonna be awesome!!

  • it does sound alot like livin on a prayer but in no way is exact... just the same as the single we werent born to follow sounds similar to born to be my baby... they have said in several interviews the object behind this album was to get back to the old bon jovi sound and i think so far from the 2 songs i have heard from the circle that they have done just that... outstanding i love it

  • Pretty good but i bet it'll be better with david tico and richie on instrumentals

  • The version of this song on The Circle is apparently full band electric.

  • The song is really great and true full, but Jon where are your other boys? Richie, Tico, David and Huge?:))

Bon Jovi has done a good job with this song!

  • omg i love it Bon Jovi have done it again! THE CIRCLE IS GONNA ROCK =D

  • WOW This song is awesome, definitely it's one of my favourite BJ songs!!!

  • god people music changes over the years.....stop thinking of the 80s yes it is a rock n roll band but still this is 2009....music changes.....you need to respect wht ever bon jovi does....cuz there doing it for all you the fans!

  • ive seen them 18 times and i still think bring back alec get the full jovi back together! not too keen on this jon on his own stuff, it just doesnt work (no pun intended)

  • Very disappointed. I love Bon Jovi and LL of his songs leading to this one. It's okay, I'd listen to it if I heard it on the radio, but not satisfied really.

  • I have a question... a very important one.. WHERE'S RICHIE ?!?!

We want Richie !! We want Richie !!

  • Infact where the F**k are Dave and Tico !?

  • That was my first thought too!!

  • Bon jovi is a great band and there music grows as they grow nothing is ever the same. You dont like it dont listen thats how easy it is, dont waste time writing how his music sucks, just get a life losers!

  • so many people yak shit, really!!!!

    i mean,we living in 2009,not in 1984 or 85

the music changed over the years....

and fucking good musican:said, that bon jovi one of the fvrt band from new jersey/(from the world) is,and so many fans like this sound...like have a nice day or lost highway, and we weren´t born to follow, hey its a bit of rock...

so many people like this!!!!!!!!!!!rock on!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think that maybe he just can not write songs like those in 7800 Farenhit or Bon Jovi or SWW... I mean, then he was 20, soon he will turn 50... people like different music today but he`s also a different man. Now he maybe likes this more... idk... sorry for the bad english

  • I think you're forgetting that 'Bon Jovi' is a band; it's not all about Jon.

Speaking of not writing songs; this has basically the same riff as LOAP.

Also, he may be a different man, but he should respect his fans' wishes.

  • nic moc znám od něho i lepší

  • Could be better. We weren't born to follow isn't that good either to be honest. I was hoping (though not expecting) for some real rock, dating back to 7800 Farenheit and their first album, 'Bon Jovi'.

    Now they're just a pop band. :(

Speaking of the band, and 'they'; is Jon the only original member there? Tico isn't black, the keyboard player doesn't look like David, is that Richie? The violin player is there though...*-)

    I could be wrong.

  • They can't go back to playing the 80s kind of music...the music changed over the years. They NEED to fit in with today's music.

The band is probably on vacation here but they'll sure be back when album is out.

The only main problem is that their music now only appeals to the middle aged people. Most teens like Jonas brothers, and other crap unfortunately except for a little few

  • They couldn't fit in with today's music if they tried IMO. Rock is dead these days; more people would rather listen to Lady Gaga than ACDC. It's wrong. It really is. I'm 16, grown up to love classic rock, and it sickens me knowing that it's dead.

Which is why I believe they should go back to their roots, like Metallica did with 'Death Magnetic'. If they did an album with influences back to SWW and NJ, I believe their fans would be over the fucking moon.

But I do understand your comment.

  • This isn't BJ playing, it's Jon doing his philantropist work. Whenever he does that, he has his own band with him; because it's Jon not Bon Jovi. It's been like this since 2002. Those on stage with Jon are, Bobby Bandiera on guitar, Lorenze Ponce on violin, Everett Bradley on percussion and on keyboard Jeff Kazee.

  • Oh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. (Y) :)

  • Your welcomee ;) If you won't to know, both Bobby Bandierra and Jeff Kazee featured on BJ's "This Left Fells Right" and on the DVD concert aswell. You can chech it uot on youtube ;) They are both on loan from Southside Johnny; Jon as actually stated that Bobby is on 'permanent loan' from Southside Johnny.

  • From 2005, Bandiera has played rhythm guitar in Bon Jovi's live performances, so he's probably as much a fulltime member as Huey McDonlald (Bass player of BJ since '95). Lots of " BJ fans" seems to detest this - for some reason!!!

  • Cheers. :)

Yeah Hugh should get much more credit than he does already; he's a fantastic bass player.

  • excellent!!

  • something special happens when u find a song that u were looking for. and suddently u or a friend just try do not listen it every..fucking.. day because that`s the magic of a good song.

  • now...the new single...it´s good!!!!!!!!!!

dereck you mean,i have no knowledge about music...pffffffff....i study music!!!!

  • MrGuitar610, so you study music?

And you think Bon Jovi has no problem with his voice?

Then you should study something else...

  • Hey there!

Yes , the song really sounds like Livin' on a prayer ....but the song is great . And pirateradioman ..dude Jon knows best how hard the life can be ..don't think that when he is rich he don't know how hard is the life ..sorry for the broken english ..

  • Hey, the new single, "We Weren't Born To Follow" is now available in Ares in good quality.

  • same key as "Living on a Prayer"

He just keeps re-writign the same songs since the 80's.

    Their music is irrelevant now.

Use to be a huge fan. Now it's just a dead horse being beat to death with re-written shclock.

Can he be anymore "nasally" sounding in the chorus?

He writes these songs of topics that he never had to live. How does he know what a working man does. He's a rich rockstar.

The songs are not from his soul cause he has no clue what its like to struggle.

  • I get what you're saying.

He's smart though, because this song will connect with millions which means millions of dollars.

And this is just a re-write of Livin' On a Prayer, for sure.

  • Jon's tired of not being Bruce Springsteen.

So now he's writing Bruce sounding songs.

That riff in the verses is just a take off of Living on a Prayer.

I'm suprised he didn't say "Tommy and Gena".

How many time scan Jon re-write "E, G, D" in a song. Are these the only chords he knows.

He never uses bar chords in any of their songs. Ever.

  • Most of their stuff is in E major... same progressions as well... that's pop/rock though, just listen to the radio...

Barre chords aren't that great anyway. Fuller sound and closer note related harmonies within the chords can be achieved by using chord shapes in the same are of the neck, barre chords are sparse and move around in intervalic leaps... you would never catch a piano player doing that... guitar has no excuse... imo the band has always been writing Springsteen style songs...

  • Pfff...tell that to other guitar players and they'd laugh at you. Like I just did.

Bar chords just aren't that great? LOL.

Depends on your level of playing.

Neck players are a dime a dozen.

You can tell by the first three frets worn out of the "D", "C", "G" chords.

  • doesn't matter which part of your fret board is worn out,if you can make a living out of it and enjoy it like i do,your doing better than the millions of bedroom hacks out there ;-)

  • Man, it doesn't matter what level your on. Bedroom hack or not. If your playing music and it feels good...then thats all that matters.

Jon is re-writing "Living On A Prayer" over, and over, and over.

  • well in my experience it's normally the bedroom hack that is putting shit on the working muso, cause they are a little jealous that they havn't taken the next step,so in a sense it does matter what level you are on,,once you have worked in the industry and really understand what the people wanna hear, you just may find your first three frets may get a little worn out,,and if your sick of johns style then listen to somthin else, most legendary bands rehash there riffs cause it works

  • I don´t think so......

  • I was responded to

    MrGuitar610.

  • what do you think guys if they gonna tour again?

  • yeah they will for sure!

  • you know from somewhere or you re just guessing?

and you think the tour is going to include europe aswell???

    Thanks you!

  • Awesome song for the time we live in.Jon always no's how the everyday people live because he is out there with them and helping the cause.

  • Absolute shit! Sounds like they used leftoever songs from that god awful Lost Highway album. Sad to see that the boys have gotten too old to rock. I guess H.A.N.D. was the last real Bon Jovi album. Glad I heard this turd before I renewed fan club membership.

  • the violin has ben with the band a few yers on live performers but never on a studio song ore record if its not acustic

  • The chorus reminds me a little of Another Reason To Believe from the Everyday single

  • to all the people they mean:jon has problems with his voice, country killed rockstars...and so on....

lost highway was the first in the charts,in 18 countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that says all! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i can't wait for the game xD

  • jeppenkillen:DAMN RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i think so,too

someone, have no knowledge about music, but think that, that´s sad....

    FOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... i think:D

  • dereck009: ohh man,you yak shit,really!!!!!

    problems with his voice....pfffffffffffffffff

    ...laughing!!!!

you have no feeling for music and knowledge about music!!!

  • You are a bit arrogant, my friend. Who has no knowledge about music? Do you even know how a vocal chord looks like? Or what it is? :)

Bon Jovi is my favourite band, but I'm not blind, like you. I have feelings. And I feel pity for Jon.

I've responded to the statment that he's gonna make the NEW Slippery When Whet. Because it's just ridiculous.

You should search for: "bon jovi always portugal 2008"

Listen to it, and the listen to the album version.

Then laugh on. Cause it's really funny...

  • Are you kidding me :O Jons voice was outstanding on the Europe tour 2008 ! He did sang Bed of Roses (KTF version), Always, Hey God, This Ain't a Love Song. He sings awesome now !

  • Also, someone said: "Country killed the rockstar". NO. Rock killed the rockstar. He had problems with his voice since late 80's.

Amazingly high notes, and tons of tours just killed his voice. And maybe he's smokin' too.

That's one of the biggest reasons he is making country music...

  • was...but now he's turning to rock again

  • indeed, he's smoking too...I totally agree with you...

  • Wake up people! Bon jovi can't make something like slippery when wet, again.

He is 47 for god' sake.

And besides aging, his voice won't let him sing high notes with power that a real rock ballad needs.

There can be awsome solos by Richie, and great music at the back, but Bon Jovi's voice is not that good anymore.

  • He turned 50 a couple months ago, btw.

  • He was born in 1962.... not 50 yet!

  • your just dumb is like 47

  • No...take the time to look it up, he is 50.

  • Lmao he's not 50, he's 47 RICHIE is 50 :)

  • its kinda like "Undivded". i like it.

But with a raging Sambora solo and Tico's druming, it will be much better.

  • that's just what i was thinking...the chords in this song are justl like "hook me up "and "Undivided" but in another key!! Also the riff is like Living on a prayer but it's a good mix....I just hope that the electric solo won't be like those songs' solos cuz there is a need for imagination here
