I t touches me how he sings this song, remembering how he gave two houses away rather than make a video, and thus continues to donate and help charities and there are folk out there who think of him as a rich rock star with no money worries. Those on stage with Jon are, Bobby Bandiera on guitar, Lorenze Ponce on violin, Everett Bradley on percussion and on keyboard Jeff Kazee.

Most of their stuff is in E major... same progressions as well... that's pop/rock though, just listen to the radio...

Barre chords aren't that great anyway. Fuller sound and closer note related harmonies within the chords can be achieved by using chord shapes in the same are of the neck, barre chords are sparse and move around in intervalic leaps... you would never catch a piano player doing that... guitar has no excuse... imo the band has always been writing Springsteen style songs...
