Looks like you really beat Giles to the punch ! Well done, it looks like it works well. How long does it take to install the extra leading edge spar and vertical support, and why did you add it ?
I love it!! The nay sayers would have had a field day with the first Ford.. or Oville and Wilbur's flying machine.. it's simply a lack of vision.. I see a wonderful future for it.. I want 10 of them!!!
Very interesting and a nicely engineered piece of machinery, but for me, the true "flying car" will never be achieved as I envision it until we can perfect anti-gravity or mag-lev technology. (Think flying Delorean from Back To The Future.) Anything less is impractical.
I don't think this is such a great invention as they try to make you believe. The thing flies with a parachute which you have to fold up after landing. The fuel-consumption compared to travelled distance is gonna be way higher than a fixed wing aircraft.
Another bad thing is that it is quite sensitive to wind.
I'd like to see how it unravels the parachute b4 flight, and reels it back in after.
Also, several times it touched the ground and flew back up again...did the driver / pilot mean to do that, or was there too much flotation for a landing? I wondered b/c depending on the wind direction & strength, it looked like it may topple over.
Finally, why did you blur out the text on the parachute?

Steve Snyder would be very proud of you guys. When he developed the Paraplane, that's where he saw it all going. Rest in Peace old friend.

The parachute is on a mast, so when you land it is supported in the air. crank it down and drive off!
