I am going to get a bigger tv for my living room soon, I may go with that Plazma your referring too, I think Plazma's have gone down in price a little since the Leds came out. Yea I have been looking at the viera by Panasonic seems cool.
yeah actually you are very lucky for this.. they went very very down.. i have the viera g10.. guess what? just 2 weeks ago panasonic release their 2010 model the G25.. i can't believe the 50 inches only cost $1500 lucky boy.. :).. the thing of plasma is that it works with GAS instead of liquid.. that's why you get faster response time and better contrast ratio
hey does the tru motion work in pc mode, with the vga connection, also what looks better on this tv pc with the hdmi or vga input. thank you please reply back.
Well this tv doesn't have the internet wigets, but you can get them via some soundbars, blueray player's etc,,, the Hdmi is the best connection available for 1080p , also the are differant video modes by far the vivid mode rocks,a very bright and crisp pic. I am no expert yet, but have it working pretty good, via adjustments , this tv is pretty user friendly.
I just hooked a Roku player that streams netflix movies at 720p res , still looks good, 1080p is amazeing though
@JLEMNER I found a way today, I bought a rca switch with 4 ports so I can just push a button between the devices I want the audio to run from. Works great I think you can get them for 10.95 online I paid 23.00 for what I bought. I plan on getting a box to play netflix movies so I wanted more than two.
@JLEMNER ,I bought it from Radio shack, what it says on the box is Audio/video selector switch it's a 4-in/1out:
I also just bought a box called a Roku HD XR , that's a cool box that will link netflix movies and be playable right away, although the video is maybe 720p , but seems like a cool device, waiting to get that via mail.Currently just running the blueray player and Directv reciever through the selector switch.
I ran the two wires into the back of my Directv receiver, I had some problems trying to get my remote to work with the soundbar but figured it out after many tries. Currently I have a blueray player I cant seem to get to work with the soundbar unless I take the wires out and put dirrectly into the Blueray player.
Im not real great at figureing it out but will work on it.
The 55" version its also awesome specially hooked up to my bose surround sound
