I named my daughter Skylar before hearing this song. She passed away when she was 15 months old on 8/30/08. I found this song for her funeral. Both girls girls are now Angels in heaven.

The first time I read the part about Skylar getting sick and dying in The Dirt, I was sitting in my study hall, which had a lot of kids in it. I started bawling, and no one could figure out why. It's a very touching song, and it's obvious that he loved her very much.
