  • The theme song of my Middle School years.

  • Butch is the man!!!!!

  • Butch is the man!!!!!

  • this was my first concert. they opened for collective soul, back in '99. i miss those days

  • @1985breezegirl Same here. The pick tricks they did alone blew me away lol. A few days later I got Hey!Album.

  • all over the internet THE LIVING END gets credit for this song. not sure who screwed that up...

  • @marleySux who the hell is "the living end?"

  • Great Song! cat

  • Thumbs up if you're a fan of 90's music and hate the emo tears they call music today

  • @boycout Actually emo started in the 90s as a more rounded up gnre with bands like Sunny Day Real Estate and Jawbreaker ;)

  • @spikevalentine13 Actually, you're still a little off. Emo began in the mid-80's with the bands Rites of Spring and Embrace.

  • @Rawk4Life That's why I said "as a more rounded-up genre," defined, if you will. Embrace and Rites of Spring were pioneers, proto-Emo, but they could also be considered into other genres with like Descendents of Dinosaur Jr. SDRE and JB defined the staple sound of Emo.

  • Even an aging hippie like me enjoy's this song..

  • Lol I love Butch's "Blue Steel" at 3:23..... Hilarious! Love this song!

  • So I've been a passionate fan of Butch and the Marvelous three for a few years now, and I don't mean to distract from the music...but by god the ass over there is nice ->

  • SOUTHGANG

  • as a rocker from the 80's, I hated all the grunge rock & music from the 90's & 2000's; but I heard this band, from my home state of ga, on the radio at work, here in orlando, and I fell in love with their music. I saw them at a club in orlando during the hey album tour, and they rocked! I meet the guys, and even ate a hot dog, from a street vendor outside the club with slug; as a drummer myself, I thought that was cool. anyway, it was cool meeting thoses guys. stay cool slug!

  • Wow I forgot about this song. Listening to this reminds me of ditching school on a warm sunny Californian day. Damn those were good times.

  • i heard this song on radio 104.5 yesterday afternoon, and now i can't stop listening to it X3

  • This song reminds me of 7th grade... the good old days. Brings back so many good memories.

  • thats right me and butch rock the PRS's nbd

  • is very similar to the fvery firts part of 1979 from smashing pumpkins... i mean no ofence... just it eared the same

  • i still love this song, 12 years later. i still have the original cd!! follow me @prettylushpromo on twitter

  • Thank you, daddy, for showing me this band.

The part where the girl goes "my brother is a rock star!" reminds me of what I'd say about my dad back then.

  • 1999 was the year this song came out, a Senior in High School in California, 15 minutes from the beach. Great times!

  • Look, Marvelous 3 is an amazing band, Butch is great, but if you are going to just put his name up there (an no one else) then pay tribute to the Floyds also, the band before they were M3

  • Just good shit!! Period..............!

  • my jr high school (1997) teacher introduced me to these guys before they hit it big. Apparently he had a band with butch in the 80s or something. I wish i woulda known who the hell they were or at least one song at the time lol i would have actually cared to get their autograph

  • I wish this would have happened in my elementary school cafeteria!!! Lol.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!! Love it

  • this is soo cool I actually work with the drummer and the bassist

  • @EvansVlogWorld

Wow! I used to work with Mitch back in Atlanta (Sandy Springs)at a plant nursery in 2000.

  • @RGLMotorsports Thats awesome!

  • 9 people must have been forced to drink moose piss before rating this song. "wow this song is great! but this moose piss is sub par. i think I'm going to have to press the dislike button!" People don't drink moose piss and rate songs. if I've said it once I've said it a million times!

  • Butch rocks! Way overlooked!

  • I'm Butch's cousin's best friends brother.

  • Comment removed

  • Butch rules!!

  • i love the 90's and I am glad I grew up through them!!!

  • @jbudd Honestly, it must suck nowadays for kids. Everyone should experience the 80's and 90's. It should be like a requirement to become an adult.

  • does anybody know what kind of guitar butch is using?

  • @FallFree20101 Some PRS model.

  • @Zubirrex It crap get a hamer!!!!!!!!!

  • @aldo1999 Hamer still make guitars? I thought they went out of business 20 years ago.

  • @Zubirrex No they still make great guitars and ever new model wins awards!!!! PRS hasnt made anything great since 1993!!!!!!!! Hamer are the bests! They are so good that they dont pay anyone to endorse there products!

  • You can convert this to an mp3 at instantmp3s..com

  • <3 this song

  • i havent heard this song since 4th grade! im 23 now. i have had it in my head forever. finaly found it!

  • we need a reunion of the M3

  • Butch Walker has seriously got to be the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen....plus I love song!

  • goodness, butch walker, you are so wonderful.

  • I just listened to this on my mixtape from May of 1999. It was a special time for me. I was on the verge of gradating High School.

  • Good Charlotte ripped this music off for that "Boys and Girls" song. Bitches.

  • sounded like the kid said my bro is a watch-dog..

  • @ToonGirlSodaPop LOL that's what I thought she said.

  • The baseist is my uncle haha(:

  • I want to marry Butch Walker. The face he makes @ 2:26 is sooooo hot. <3 this song.

  • @Lunar3Eclipse oops, the cute face is @ 2:28, not :26.

  • These guy are just plain kick azz!

  • i am really confused, either living end's version of this is absolutely spot on or someone mis-uploaded something

  • memories!!!

  • great song!

  • i like this song, but i always liked "write it on your hand" better!

  • Talk about taking a trip down memory lane...good times, good times. Their song Sugarbuzz was (well still is IMO) awesome as well!

  • These guys were gay ...right?

  • Yeah!!!!

Brings back some memories- I still Love this song.

    Butch is still Rocks!!!!!

  • God this song takes me back in day. the first time I heard it was on Dawson's creek . You know before the show became crap. ahh this song rocks

  • Butch Walker was rocking the cool mascara and black nail polish look before Adam Lambert!! I had THE BIGGEST crush on Butch back when this song came out in '98! Thanks to YouTube, I found this song, and now dancing in my room remember the good 'ol days!!

  • Butch Walker ( the lead singer of this band) found Never Shout Never by spending his time on myspace

  • The Hey! Album rocked from beginning to end.

  • He should be the new Velvet Revolver singer, that would be, uh, different.

  • the chorus of this song just randomly popped into my head out of absolutely nowhere. i havent heard it since it was on the radio in 98 or so.

one of the catchiest songs ever

  • same here lol

  • Butch is my cousin.

  • @DRekkless

    OMG!

  • @DRekkless sure he is and Lady Gaga is my auntie

  • I love Butch Walker/Marvelous 3 so much :D

  • thx

  • these guys are creepy, but good

  • Damn..I haven't heard this song in forever. It used to be one of my favorites in middle school...helped me make it through that hell. Definitely one of my favorites back then, and it's still one of my favorites now.

  • @SketchReed you are gay

  • @SketchReed you are gay

  • @bonerjooseuhmilion your fucking gay bitch

  • @yubisakireno He has a gay bitch? You wrote 'You're' in the possessive sense so I imagine that's what you meant.

  • @bonerjooseuhmilion Seriously? The best comment you could come up with is "you are gay"? Even the douchebags in middle school had better lines than that, you cock-suckin' butt-fuckin' duck-bucket. Once you come back with a more original line, respond to this. I'll be waiting.

  • @SketchReed i so fucking argree with you man

  • This song has deeper meaning than is on the surface when he says stop it before we begin it is refering to WW3

  • I am Butch and M3's biggest fan, and thet is why they stopped getting airplay after Hey, Album, I have written some lyrics in ihis style actually a few but I can only find one right now, Do a line of coke, And some Marijuana smoke, So you know your still alive. It matters not today, What you did on yesterday, Just as long as you survive, So you smoke away your jet, And your little red corvette, But it's all the same to me. Cause your mind is filled with drugs, A-ha, Character limits
  • Butch is just too cool...

  • finally!!!! been searching 4 this video eversince man . .

  • Man, I LOVE THEM! They were the BEST in concert!

  • Caught them at a club in Orlando around Halloween 1998.

  • The lead singer is hot

  • Good Rock'N Guitar Tune, I Still Jam This One Once And A While!

  • Marvelous 3 IS Southgang... minus Jesse Harte

  • One of my favorite songs of the 90's. The video is kinda goofy though.

  • @AMouthFullOfTruth What 90s video ISN'T goofy?

  • shout out to doug. what's going on? JB- rome

  • awesome

  • this use to be my favorite song. man i miss those days! altough i dont think the 90s were the best decade as far as music goes, but they could sure hold their own.

  • the drummer used to be my drum teacher!

  • The bass player's my dad !!!!

  • Then your dad's a great performer - saw him in California a couple of times with the Marvies.

  • he said thanks

  • Cool; thanks for telling him. I'm a bassist, too, and loved seeing him perform at the Whisky and Troubador. Best wishes to you.

  • nah I know em' and your not him

  • Jon? Is that you?

  • <3333 i love you butch. and i need this song on my ipod. but its not freaking on itunes D:

  • i saw it on i tunes just a few days ago..

  • i LOVE butch walker!!!!!!!

  • he went to my high school

  • LUCKY

  • Nu-uh!

  • I just heard this song for the first time in my entire life on WJRR...EPIC! That is all. ^_^

  • I first heard this song on the radio like 10 years ago. I wore this album out.

  • LONGER THAN THAT DUDE.....this is the 90's ....the best time for music in 30 yrs

  • No idea what you just said. But anyways, this album came out late 1998.

  • I heard this back in 99 and it blew me away. 90's rocked. My other favorite bands were Dishwalla, Remy Zero, and The New Radicals.

  • Yeah, the New Radical album was great, and I followed up for awhile to see if they would come out with something else, but I think he just got too involved with politics or something and put music aside.

  • song sounds familiar

    but I dont remember it

  • 0:20= He's soooo hot

  • so hot, yeah...

  • i no....... sooooo hot

  • what a great great band!!

    and a fantastice song!

    Butch is mega-talented!!!!!!!

  • i felt like those adults like 21yrs n above should be proud of the 90s song...cuz today's music really suck! i mean, seriously, the reunion band or any singers from 90s still the best and the new musicians from 00's still the best but miley cyrus, jonas brother, demi bla bla or metro....wtf? they did try to change the music into diff sound....damn i missed the 90s!

  • thats only de dumb disney XD epic fail disney, epic fail!

  • I'd say 17 and up, actually, but otherwise you're right.

  • If this is considered good 90's music, something is terribly wrong.

  • ......y?

  • Yes I miss music from the 90's :3

    Songs nowadays are crap T^T

  • i SECOND that! the lead singer is from my hometown in Georgia

  • Same here. Too small of a town.

Great singer song writter. Check out tommyland by Tommy lee.

  • amen!!!! the 90's rocked!!!

  • OMG! THAT'S BUTCH?! wow how much I've missed these years... I'm 15 and I fell in love with his music last week and I see this now and I say wow all this happened when I was so young... but I feel a little wierd cause this reminds me of some songs from good charlotte! GOOD CHARLOTTE COPIED FROM THIS VIDEO! that's not fair... :@

  • You're fifteen, and you fell in love with the music a week ago... when you were younger? D-bag..

  • I'm 15 too! But I've been a HUGE fan since 2004 ever since I've discovered him I cannot get enough! he's like my favorite singer now...........and I'm going to see him in dallas next month I'M SO EXCITED

    butch forever!

  • this song is hands down da best ever

  • Budpurps, this album is over 10 years old which would probably make the lead singer in his twenties at the time. Butch Walker and Marvelous 3 were awesome and this is a great song.

  • can somwone tell me the title of the song right before this tune. I thought it was called your so yesterday. Great song

  • You're So Yesterday... good song. :\

  • That's totally my high school! I mean, literally, that's where I went to high school.

  • ohmygosh is that butch??

    young butch is a cutie!!

  • I always thought Butch looked like Vegeta in this video

  • Someone needs to upload a non-live version of Radio Tokyo.

  • wow, this is actually really good

  • THIS SONG ROXXX!

  • these guys are from my hometown. ive met them, hung out with them, been to plenty of concerts they had, but it truly sucks that they split up. butch walker is a cool person in real life, but an amazing performer. my cousin tho is probably their biggest fan. no question about it.

  • omG i havet heard this song in ages!

  • 1:49 epic moment

  • Butch is so talented and freakin' HOT. I remember him from the Southgang days. Still hot as ever and so talented and smart.

  • Southgang was one of the most underrated bands of that era!

    (Add Tyketto to that list!)

The second disc was even better than the debut...but so many great albums from 1991-1993 just got buried under Pearl Jam and Nirvana.

Shame that no one was able to realize there was room for everything.

I was glad to see Butch able to reinvent and revamp. Now, he's one of the most sought after writers and producers.

  • I think out of all the M3 songs, this song, I Could Change, and Mrs. Jackson rank as my favorites.

  • he looks like sid visous

  • These guys were frekaing fantastic. Why'd they have to last for so short a time.

  • This song came out in 1998.

    1998 was a great year.

  • YES IT SOOOO FREAKING WAS!!!!

  • 1998 was the best year ever!!!!:D Sad that it was 10 years ago. :(

  • Freaking good charlotte ripped the verse riff off from these guys in boys & girls...man i hate that band

  • I LOVE this video!

  • This song is still as badass as the first time I heard it. I loved it when I was 13, and I love it now!

  • The music of the 90s was was more memorable back then in my opinion. Although there are pockets full of bands that actually play ROCK music, many "bands" and "musicians" today continually sell out with this artificial, per due mystery meat that everyone is forced to taste.

My speech put aside, this band's awesome :D

  • I agree. 90s FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i saw butch last night. I met him too... he is so cool... i got 4 autographs and a guitar pick

  • ouh. this is the best song og him .. he looks so sexy *rwar*
