I agree the song doesn't sound the same without Gilmour. It is almost hard to hear this song knowing how it should sound. For waters being the knifes edge in floyd. He is a great song write no question, but Gilmour took the lyrics and made the music behind floyd. When you close your eyes and listen to floyd you can tell its them right off the bat because of the tactical musician Gilmour was.

Would be great for the fans if they just got back together and did one final tour. Keep on hoping but it seems a far stretch as Gilmour now has said that he has moved on.

Yes its true, he is a great song writer and not a bad vocalist at all. Give him some credit. I saw him as well, and I've never experienced anything like that. Simply awesome. Waters is the best!
