  • Thank You !

  • He aged better than those god awful 70's styles.

  • Good job! All things considered, he aged well. Don't know why I didn't see it that way back then but damn I was wrong. Great post!

  • weeeeeeeeeell done!

  • Great tribute to Jack Lord. Well done, bruddah! Especially cool that you used the scene where McGarrett smashed Army Stanwood for season 6, one of my favourite Five-0 moments! Great!

  • Thanks for the video clip. It was excellent to see Jack throught the years in that blockbuster show.

  • He looks the same every year to me. Is that the point? I hope so; I'd hate to be missing something.

  • I watch the re-runs on satellite. I was a bit dissappointed with the new series. If I were casting a new McGarrett, I'd choose Thomas Gibson from Criminal Minds. I think he's channeling Jack Lord on that show.

  • @cypresscoach Great observation! From the perpetually stoic, all-about-business demeanor to the rare glimpses inside Hotchner's personal life, Thomas Gibson definitely seems to be "channeling" Jack Lord in his "Criminal Minds" performance.

  • this is an excellent compilation and a good idea.

If you look up the word COOL in the dictionary, you will find Jack Lord's picture there.

  • Season 11 was that Steve Kanally aka Ray Krebbs from Dallas??

  • I think the person who uploaded this did well on finding parts of Jack Lords face. But season nine his hair was all wet.

  • @nvxxl123 I included the wet hair to show his hair was real and that it wasn't always perfect.

  • I don't know about Hawaii, but in Texas in the late 60s, hair length for cops was tightly regulated. It loosened up in the 70s where they grow their hair longer, have a mustache.

  • Ever notice that, back in the 70's and even into the early 80's, anytime someone started in a new show, their hair was sort of shot-cropped, but as the show got along in years, the people's hair got a little wilder? I always found that fascinating.

  • Back then, we did not even have : PUSH BUTTON PHONES, MICROWAVES, VCR'S, DESKTOP PC'S-----the tension in the show applied to the LACK of technology available. It made life harder and more frustrating.. It made crime fighting harder and crime easier.

  • The greatest actor in the greatest TV show ever made.

  • Hawaii Five O is one of the greatest police series ever made.

If you look closely you will notice that his apperance changed slightly between season 2 and 3. That´s because he made a facelift during 1970.

  • @Strings1977 and his hair was somewhat slightly shorter in the earlier seasons than it was in the later seasons.

  • @Strings1977 and notice how increasingly gray-ish his sidebruns gotten as the run went on as well.

  • hes sooooooooooooooooo frigin coooooooooooool

  • Love it! The man was so handsome. Even after twelve years, he was still drop-dead gorgeous! Thanks for creating and sharing this.

  • @sapphiretaurus:

You stole my comment! Not only was he very handsome, but he was the coolest cop on TV. I wish real police officers were like Steve, Danno, Chin, & Kono.

  • @SpankRamen2 We'll share it! I guess it's a case of brilliant minds thinking alike.
