Shouldn't the results have been "polyethelene glycol" (antifreeze) doesn't help heart disease, since that's one of the ingredients in Niaspan? Why not test niacin alone rather than one with antifreeze, polyvinypyrrolidone and several coloring agents? Why all the press about the failure of Niaspan instead of the Cochrane research review of the research that showed statins offer no benefit to those with low cardivascular risk?
