I am cheering for you students and hope you will find a way to resist this stupidity. I am sad you are going through this but happy you have spoken out - I hope you will continue to do so. You are heroes to people everywhere who have no voice or who have lost their voice. Thank you!
Books are our bullets. Books matter, they have power. These books have been banned for a reason -- you are powerful, and bless you for speaking out. Read books, buy and share these books:
This is very surprising to see that anyone would even bother to "correct" the education, and by this means. Seriously? Are we not humans? How many more tongues need to be cut, how many more memories need to be denied, who's lives are at stake when this happens? Who? Certainly not your children, when you are only worried about English, let alone the cultural aspects of European descent. What ever possessed anyone to interpret HB2281 with such severity? Whoever, however many, you are not American.
I cannot believe this is the America we live in. These students are now a part of something much bigger than themselves and in the end this experience will allow them to learn from the mistakes of those who clearly do want to rule through Supremacy, as MrKhalilk stated below, I second his statement by saying I too...wish you well. Keep fighting. Your voice brings strength to others.
When I heard about this I was astounded; I am a African American man, and I often say we can not stand by and just let injustice take place. In 2012 White Patriarchy/Supremacy is still alive. Please understand this is NOT a knock all all Caucasians; however, there are still Caucasians who want to hide the truth, and rule through Supremacy....I wish you guys well out there.
The beauty of young adults taking up such responsibility and tackling these political agendas is contagious. I thank the educators and bow my head to the pupils for leaping out against such an oppressive TUSD/public education system. These classes have opened the path for kids to lay down there fists of anger and societies misunderstandings and allowed them usage of there minds and unlocked there surrounding consciousness.
Stand Proud Students. You are an example for us all. We support your right to learn your history. We will see you soon!

The match that has sparked this critical-thinking-flame within the kids will rise and never cease.
From the far reaches of Afghanistan I love the young Xicanos(as) i am fighting for.
