  • I was over an Nemours in Orlando Florida for my upper GI when I was about her age.. and the nurses didn't even speak english, and they were trying to get an IV in, and they poked me 5 times until my dad took the needle, cussed at the nurse, then picked me up and took me to the desk. Why do they let amatuers do this shit..

  • WOMAN, U HAVETO FIND THE VAIN BEFORE U GO PUTTING THE NEEDLE IN!

  • Fuck!!!! I'm getting it tomorrow! :(

  • i scream and try to kick my doctor and im 13

  • Man shes tougher than me and im 17... XD!

  • aww thats scarry im a total baby when it comes to neddles. Im 14 and cry its ok.

  • is it just me or do all black nurses fucking suck at drawing blood and giving shots? that's been my experience and i'm 21 years old

  • and that's why I have the "3 strikes rule" you miss the vein 3 times, you better find somebody else, second person only gets one try, if they don't get it first try, they get somebody else, etc.

  • One time I had to go to the ER cus I had a allergic reaction to a bee sting and my vains were like fading so they literally had to stab me with the needle fifteen times it hurt so bad!

  • @hammyboyd

Damn. Almost every single time I had to get my blood drawn I'd get so freaked out by the needles that my veins sink into the skin and my hand turns so cold it's like I've been out in the cold all day. They would try to get a vein but would end up missing four or five times, then they have the nerve to move the needle in my skin!? What the fuck man! Pisses me off! The last time I had my blood drawn the woman actually did it right and I only had to get one poke! Almost fainted though.

  • I had a nurse that missed my vein twice! She went out of the room to get some help and I just did it myself .I probably shouldn't have done that... But hey I do have training! Great video she was so brave.

  • @alyshaw101 LOL! I would have done the same thing

  • I have watch the nurse who does my blood test. I want make sure, their doing it. The arm is nothing. Tried having a needle in your hand. that hurt But, i didn't scream. My dad has rolling veins. hard for the nurse But the needle in his veins.

  • @IluvDonnieandJordan weird, everyone says if you have a needle in your hand it would hurt, but to me it doesn't. I've been drawing blood from the hand rather than the arm, which hurts more to me >.<

  • @Hyukfied the arm hurts you more than the hand? That is weird. the hand is more bony than the arm. I guess everyone is different. Some nurses will leave a bruise mark on your hands or arms. but this tie, the nurse didn't. just little hole was poke.

  • Why do people tape this?

  • @Athena1992owl the same reason why you're watching it..

  • wow shes good i had to get an IV and i screamed so loud

  • im type O so every time i go to the doctor hes like "would you like to donate blood?"

  • i got my 1st blood test on monday, and im 15, the doctor got the vein on the first try b/c it is a visible vein :)

  • Lucky for me my doctor got the vein first try!

  • I'm a phlebotomist and there are times when you have to readjust the needle. The vein can roll real easily. I've had to do this several times. You can roll the needle around without it hurting. Just don't point it up or down while in the arm.

I love my job though. The hardest patients are old people.

  • mom shut the fuck up saying "she lost her vein" makes it worse lol

  • why would you put a vidoe of this on youtube?!

  • I loved how she held her eye lids.

  • I my goodness I hate when they stick it in and the blood doesn't come out an they have to put another whole in ur arm. I remember the first time that happened I panicked and she asked if I wanted someone else and sent another person to do it lol. It's a big deal to me to get blood drawn because of scar tissue from dontating years ago.

  • I get a blood test every day, no kidding. All of my friends to do because this stupid doctor thought we were infected and isn't going to stop until he gets something from the darn test. :(

  • Why is she getting her blood drawn.

  • Omg I get my blood taken like 3 times a month D: and I'm like 14.. :/ and holy crap it hurts when they have to move it around trying to get the vein! I feel your pain

  • Im at the weirdest part of youtube

  • thats why i dont ever want to be a nurse or doctor

  • This is exactly how needle phobias begin. Just takes one bad experience, then your petrified for life!

  • @jammie129 this is how mine began :( except the woman actually took the needle out and poked me repeatedly WITH THE SAME NEEDLE yes i was scarred for life... thank god i'm over this fear... it only took me 7 years, and CBT therapy... effing nurse...

  • I got this shot today and the person recording this video didnt keep the camera on when the lady was about to take the needle out. The old woman told me "now, im just gonna slip this on out..." and rips the frickin needle out of my arm!! Then guess what she says after finishing those horrifying minute-long shots?? Guess!!

    "Woopsie, didnt get enough blood."

  • Iv'e never had my blood drawn..Now I'm officially Terrified to do so.

  • my doctor stuck the needle in and started moving the fucking thing around it hurt so bad

  • I just had my first blood test today. I'm 13 and I had a panic attack haha how embarrassing, but i conquered my fear. My biggest fear was getting my blood drawn.

  • Same thing happened to me. They had to stick BOTH or my arms, BOTH of my hands and finally found a good vein on my right hand. It hurts like a bitch -_-

  • Sometimes it's not because they are inexperienced.

I'm a nurse and I have situations like that often. This lady did a great job in trying to make it less painful. Alot of patient's veins are deep, very deep so they tend to move even after putting the needle in.

  • This is exactly what happened the first time I had blood drawn: she lost the vein and then kept poking around but she moved the needle around in my arm, like, 4 times before giving up and going to the other arm. By that time, I was crying and going "YOU BETTER GET IT IN ON THIS ARM!!", ughhh, i hate needles so bad

  • I had it done 9 times once they got it finnaly (never cried)

  • Im 12 and i scream bloody murder when i find out that ANY needles are involved

  • FUCK! I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS 4 AND HAD TO TAKE 6 SHOTS. I CRIED A LOT. BUT A YEAR LATER WHEN I KNEW THEY GIVE US TREATS, I LIKED IT!

    COO COO FOR CANDY

  • videos like this make me cringe

  • oh gosh, im so afraid of needles its not even funny. the last time i had a needle i screamed and cried doctors had to hold me down. i was 13.

  • wat amatuers they go 2 school for how long 2 learn that shit? we did that shit in basic training with our DS walking us through it that little girl is the bomb for sittin through that thats 4 sure

  • fuck

  • Ok first off after that nurse cleaned that sight she shouldn't have touched the place where she was going to insert the needle....secondly the girls arm is slightly bent which probably didn't help her in finding the vein (you're supposed to have a straight arm and clenched fist)...you can reposition to find the vein once your in the arm to keep from having to restick the patient but this look like the nurse just plain couldn't find the vein and probably had to retry after the video ended.

  • i was gettin my blood drawn at the hospital and the tech didnt have his glasses on and he went in and some how the needle came up to the skin then back down to the vain im like damn if u dnt know how to take blood then dnt do it

  • i have had my blood drawn and the dam nurse ceep missing the vain she stapped my like 25 times

  • God, that phlebotomist is fishing like crazy... Poor kid.

  • to me i think the nurse shouldve known where to stick it

  • I was suicidal and used to do self mutilation but now I can't even stand to see my own blood anymore or feel pain of any kind. I wonder why that is. I used to donate blood before all the crap in my life started, and now that I'm normal again, I have an aversion to these sorts of things. When I got a tattoo, I felt like I was going to throw up and after it was done, I had a tummy ache for hours.

  • this is where the life long fear of needles starts. damn, you got some "rolling veins"

  • it dont hurt to me it feel good

  • what an amateur i feel so bad for that little girl seriousle poking and poking but couldnt find a vein seriously!

  • @War86Lord If you feel so bad for the little girl, send her a postcard. This is normal procedure, and the examiner was trying to establish rapport with the child; thiiink.

  • @War86Lord Its not that easy as it looks.

  • @War86Lord me too

  • i had to get a blood test done because my doctor thought i had a kidney infection and they missed the vein like 5 times it hurt SOOOO bad and on top of that i was feeling terribly sick so i started to cry :\ i didn't think missing a vein would hurt that bad!

  • @c0chayuyo awwww! haha.

  • @c0chayuyo i was supposed to get an IV yesterday and they poked me 3 times in the arm and 3 times in the hand! they never got the vein. Then after they were done poking me they said that i didnt have to get the IV that i could just drink this special liquid then wait 10 min, im like WOW i could have done that the whole time and u didnt say anything!?!?!?!

  • @c0chayuyo Dude ifkr it hurts, like they will look for its like OMFG OW STOP dude i will scream like OWW SCREAMS OMG AHH ;_; PLEASE STOP OH LORD PLEASE MAKE HER STOP

  • @c0chayuyo There barley suppose to hurt if they miss two times you tell them to move to the next arm. You can request that.

  • i got mine done today and she did my finger didn't work so than she did my arm put it in and lost the vain than looked for it moveing it around my arm was purple then she took it out got another nurse they did the other she messed up and did my wrist lost the vain fished for it than got it it hurt like crazy! omgg

  • She should have used a 23 gauge needle instead of a 21 gauge on her.

  • i can do a neddle but not an iv tf mane DNT EVA PUT ONE OF DEM IN ME

  • it HURTS ALOT

  • @sdmomxs3 I had a MD draw blood in an ER in 2005 when all the other staff was busy.

  • @sneakers55 I am so sorry! It's like the MD's get to skip the blood drawing classes in school. I know that had to SUCK for you!

  • Why did she have to draw her nlood

  • i hate it when they put the needle in and cant find your vain it feels weird

  • looks like a mean doc

  • I'm glad I had my blood drawn at least 3 times at 3 different places because more than one doctor wants to check my blood, not only at one place.

  • noob doctor

  • how old are u

  • FAIL

  • I nearly fainted one time...but that was only because I was looking at the needle. I turned white as a sheet and my vision blurred a little. When I got to the waiting room, I had to stay seated for a few minutes because I thought I was going to pass out, right in front of the other patients who were waiting. :/

  • The best thing you can do when you have blood drawn is ask for a phlebotomist who's drawn blood for many years. Trust me. The more experienced the phlebotomist, the better. One phlebotomist who drew blood from me said she has done it for over 20 years. She got a vein on the first try, and it didn't hurt a bit. :) Speak up if you are anxious! It does wonders.

  • @brietousley Don't call the doctor stupid. The girl may have thin veins. It's not unusual for a doctor to fish for them, it'd just be more convenient if they found it on the first try. :p

  • fuiste super valiente

  • what a stupid doctor. I feel so bad for that girl!

  • @brietousley The Doctor Wasn't Stupid !! iAs Well As That Girl Have Thing Or Hard To Find Veins And It Takes A Doctor Some Time To Find Them(:

  • @brietousley Who's the stupid one? Everyone knows doctors are NOT the ones who draw blood. A phlebotomist does.....just sayin

  • lol i got my blood drawn and it hurt like CRAZY! my arm was shaking uncontrolably. the needle had a long tube attached to it. And the nurse said it would only pinch for a second... well no it didnt! it hurt for like 11 seconds and it hurt so bad! she pinched my skin before i got the needle and said "this will make it not hurt" and i was like tearing up cuz i hate shots. my face was like O _ O" and at the end she took the shot out i was like O o O im not trying to scare you guys sorry if i did

  • That's nit even bad I get blood work 2 a month and a IV 1 a month since I was 2 years old

  • @shakaZOOOM3 i do too! but i have to get an iv every month for the rest of my life but no blood taken. sometimes when the iv is in my arm but they attach another tube to the cord to get blood. i actually like getting it know cuz its fun . theres this rlly nice doctor that comes to my house and does it.she lives right near me too.v

  • she's fishing!

    LOCATE THE VEIN FIRST LADY!

  • funny face :D

  • i gotta do this in a few days...

  • poking her eyes out!!!

  • i had to have 7 tubes done at once

  • fck the last time I got a blood draw was 10 years ago and hell the syringe was at least 3 times as big.... now that I think about it I want to punch the doctor

  • THE FIRST TIME, I PUNCHED THE DOCTOR IN THE FACE

    >:( not really, but i wanted to

  • this does not hurt at all, i just look while shes doing it and watch my blood flow ♥

  • @Bieberfans123 lol i had 1 today i watch my blood flow 2 its pretty cool FATALITY

  • dang she is really good

  • her face in the begiinning is pricelessXD

  • I donate platelets at the blood center. One time I farted real loud. 3 people heard it and they looked at the old man who was donating platelets too. He was asleep and we all started to laugh silently.

  • that reminds me of my first blood test, i was crying like a baby lol

  • They first numbed my arm so I didn't feel a thing! I have needle phobia!

  • Getting ur blood drawn does not hurt that bad...exept wen I got mine drawn they didn't have to fish for the vein once they got it rite away so..

  • Natalie did so good! That phlebotomist was doing a couple big no nos. She didn't sanitize the area, and she fished for the vein. Horrible.

  • Wow, you did really good Natalie, so brave, I know how it can hurt when they don't get at the right place right away... you did great :-D

  • Wow, you did really good Natalie, so brave, I know how it can hurt when they don't get at the right place right away... you did great :)

  • getting bood drawn isnt that bad but when your young.......

  • I get stuck on average 10 times a day, it's really not that bad

  • Whenever they draw blood from me in the ER, they give me a ball.

  • i had this done 2 days ago and im soooo scared of needles i was crying my eyes out lol

  • exorcist 0:01

  • @stupidchicken112 hahahaha

  • getting blood drawn hurts man

    but i'm used to it

    doesn;t bother me anymore

  • how old is she

  • look @ 0:01..... she looks terified!!!!! great job natalie!:)

  • I give blood about every ten weeks (hematocrit slow to recover). Then I have TDM for Depakote and Synthroid. I've had them draw blood before the last bruise went away...

  • its just a little pinch.

i get one like every 3 months lol

and the first time i was freaking out LOL

  • just relax your muscles and don't think about it . the more tense you are and the more you think about how its going to hurt. it WILL hurt like a motherfucker,

  • Yeah i just got mah blood drawn, does not hurt at all!

  • they did the same thing to check where to give me the shot it didnt hurt at all trust me it was E-z!

  • learn to stick yourself with a needle...you will lose your fear very quickly

  • Can someone please help me, I have a deep fear of all types of needles and injections.. it makes me sick and wanting to throw up.. but I REALLY want to become a paramedic, to help people and save lives, all that good stuff.

But if I'm scared of needles and injections, how on earth will I be able to inject others? I hate myself for being a coward. I MUST overcome my fear, but I just don't know how. I want to be a paramedic desperately, but I have to be braver. PLEASE help me overcome this.

  • @RunescapeDomn I'm training to be a phlebotomist right now, and for the past 23 years (I'm 23) of my life I've been terrified of needles. The best way to overcome that is to take a class like phleb and just start doing injections. I used to hate looking at the needle, but now I stare at my arm all the time when someone does it on me, and most of the time it doesn't hurt. ^_^ I even posted a vid of my first one on my channel. Haha. It's all a mind game!

Good luck, you can do it!!

  • She did really good! I hate blood tests too!

  • hey my name is natalie xDDD...... needles like shots dont bother me but when i get my blood drawn... ya i like feel like im gonna faint

  • Any advise of having your blood test done I MIGHT be doing

when I turn 11 and I am scared to death. I'm also scared of having blood tests when I go to secondary school! I hate needles. Help me!Needles are almost no.1 on my phobia list.

  • Lol one time i got my blood drawn 5 times in one day. fun times. i love getting my blood drawn.

  • i got 5 tubes my arms are accing as in typing a got a bruse because the freaking girl made my vain close as she was doing it god it hurttt

  • Omg she looks like Miley Cyrus and I hate doctors they shoodnt b waring scary wite lab coats they shood ware colorful clothes maybe sum costumes they can b teletubbies lmfao haha that wood b cool lol

  • @heyjustbored

    Lol.

  • @heyjustbored Some of them do wear bright, colorful clothes to make the whole atmosphere a little more pleasant for the patients, especially children.

  • Dont worry it literally is a little pinch

  • She was brave? I look at the shots and laugh

  • its scary when there getting ready to give the shot, when they put it in you be like "thats all?..."

  • @Monica7459 XD Exactly! It's the ANTICIPATION that scares people the most, not the actual shot. I usually start to sweat and shake a little when I see the doctor coming towards me with a needle, but when he puts it in my arm and then takes it out, I just say, "Hm, that was easy."

  • she was brave

  • For some people, blood tests often aren't as bad as they look. I got one on the first try a few times and those were the easiest blood tests I had. I didn't feel a thing, and the needle came out as fast as it came in. :)

  • i have the exact same shirt she was wearing.

  • "Maybe your vein just ran away." This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I have blood drawn. I'm anxious every time I have to have blood tests done, so my veins get scared too. :) Sometimes I have to get poked a few times before a vein can be found. I often get somewhat cranky when this happens. I ask, "Did you find one yet?!" XD

  • @31operafan lol

  • Wow! She's brave! For anyone who hates blood tests, the best thing you can do is not look at the needle. Try looking at the wall or the person beside you or just close your eyes and pretend that someone's just squeezing and pinching your arm.

  • a first time nurse kept sticking me with the needle because she couldnt find the vain and after i ended upp fainting. i was 7

  • it's not as easy as it looks to locate a vein on a child. Adrenalin pumping in the body from fear can constrict the blood vessels making it harder to find a vein.

  • she must be scared of needles just like i am that sucks

  • what exactly a Blood draw any way?, could you provide some explaiations for me? thx. Cool vid!

  • wow... the Phlebotomist was not supposed to be probing in the arm....

  • Aww, brave little girl

  • IT HURTS the first time after that it doesnt hurt cuz it all physcological i have to get one done every month for my thyroid condition and let me tell you the first one hurt like a b1tch cuz u expect it to hurt then later it was like a little pewny pinch

  • DOES IT HURT ASK UR DAUGHTER FOR ME PLZ IM SOOOOOO SCARED!

  • @nightwishfan06 wow its just a shot its not that serious.

  • @GotGab hey sry i hate needles!

  • @nightwishfan06 i do tooooo but it still doesnt hurt haha

  • Oh man, I hate when they loose the vein! That happened to me so much! It's because of her "fight or flight" response, when your body gets scared, it tenses up and your veins "hide" so they don't get hurt. :(

  • At least she didn't have to get a Glucose Tolerance Test. Blood drawn every hour for three to six hours. My arms still hurt and that was last year. :/

  • She's a trooper. =)

  • i had to do it today and i have exima and it makes it alot worst

  • The only thing that feels is pain and funny feel

  • I would not let that lady near my kids- and she performed the wrong test... Scary

  • That looks fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well for her. she closed her eyes and was imaging her shot land! well shes the bravest girl i don't know:-)

  • lol shitty phlebotomist

  • lol looks kinda of like miley cyrus not to be mean ^ looks cute :]

  • that ladie can not draw blood on people her technique sucks

  • That happened to me last summer. Ever since u have been scared of needles. My moms givin me one tomorrow. She's a doctor. I was watching a few other and I started cryin. I'm terrified!

  • They did it to my 6 year old brother he cried but he got a lollipop and concert tickets lucky!!!!!!!!!!

  • does it hurt

  • yeahhh but it dam hurts

  • what did she mean "i'm having trouble with it"!?!?!?

  • she means that she's just having trouble getting the needle into the vein. i've heard other people talk about "rolling veins" which i think means that they move under the skin (sounds gross when u actually say it)

  • @ZobiProductions if u go to slow or use to big of a needle gauge for the vien size they can roll easy, thats why you anchor

  • @krypekeeper ohhhh, and i dont know what "anchor" means, can you explain please?

  • @ZobiProductions when u pull the skin taught with your thumb about 5 inches below the draw site

  • @krypekeeper ohh that makes sense, thanks
