This makeup tutorial is incredible!!! You have such a steady hand and have created totally great looks. I recently began singing in a rock band and had no idea what makeup to use to really make my eyes/entire look stand out...so, I looked up "glam rock" and sure enough, you popped up! :) I went around to the local beauty store to shop for the eyeliner & glitter I needed for this look, and a lot of people noticed at my first show! I have hooded lids and I was curious about how I'd go about the cut crease look. Is there a different technique I could use?

I have hooded lids as well. The trick is to draw above where your lid creases and that in turn, creates the illusion that you have a crease. The darker the colors you use, the more depth it will create. I hope that helps.

Aw, thanks. I know it's a pain in the ass, but I can't do too much about it. I might invest in some lamps to see if the lighting can be helped, but I usually can't make tutorials during the day so that's why they're so dark. Also, I wish I could afford a new camera but I can't.

Usually I just use makeup wipes that you can get from any drug store or even Wal-Mart, but right now I'm using a makeup remover from Bioderma called Sensibio H20.

Thank you! I hope you get a chance to try it out. It takes practice, but it's always worth a shot. Cutting the crease is just a matter of using the right tools and making sure you blend it out afterward. I think you'll do great!
