Until about a year ago, I had an 1989 250r with the 330 big bore kit from CT Racing. I ate a Raptor and 450yzf for lunch with no problem. No competition at all. I don't mind if people talk down about the 250r, but I am pretty sure you couldn't beat it. Unless you put the a new Raptor against an old wore out 250r, then they might beat it. We estimated my output at about 67 horsepower.. I never found anyone in NE Ga that could beat it.

Notice also these race bikes are not made to pop wheelie's.. I see that this guy here pops up the front in 1st gear I think. I could get mine to do that in 3rd gear if I had traction. Not to mention that this bike it 22 years old in this video. Sure he has worked on the motor, but who hasn't been inside a 2 stroke. Point being that this bike still eats the "Fast" bikes 22 years later.. Good gearing. Good motor. Good Bike.
