  • @iguanna41. yes ur right. it was '91 (july). when the dance/rave scene really started to take off (commercially).

  • I am sure this was 1991 not 1992

  • es paradis 91 loved up with a hundred Scousers and 200 tasty women in the foam party early hours. Going on to Space and never going asleep until total collapse on the beach

  • 懐かしい

    I miss 90's.

  • Thanks for hitting me mentally with the mid-90's...like a V-8, I needed that! Makes work that more interesting

  • I remember them playing a live set at Liberty’s in Sale (RIP), and watching in awe as Janey wriggled about on stage in a green leotard with a full camel hoof on display... For a 15 year old in a paisley tie... MILF-TASTIC GOOD TIMES !

  • The Song is from 1991.

  • i beleive sarah cracknell is on the vocals, wow never seen the video before sound worse than crap have on 12 inch used to listen to on ststemdek 2 built in ayr scotland and ar cambridge amp that hummed a lot, seemed to penetrate the soul the sound here is like audio chewing gum get the 12 inch disciples.

  • Honda Vision...the first moped i ever nicked! lol.

    Top top tune!

Stay happy ravers.See you all on the other side. =)

  • Remember all the happy nights listening to this '91 song.

There are many records from the last years that had some kind of this Cola boys song atmosphere.

  • Funny thing is that people thought this was cool. Will todays music videos looks this dated years later?

  • @DinosaurFalcon I don't think I know anyone who thought this was cool, to be honest. It looks like the sort of parody you'd get in the middle of a Chris Morris show, veering between kitsch appreciation and outright mockery.

  • The bollocks, and thats it.!

  • Andy was a top bloke and very popular in Edinburgh and will be sorely missed.

    R.I.P

  • This is one of those sorts of songs that I never could get into, but for some reason it gets stuck in my head over and over again. Guess that's how it got so popular back in the day for some peopleXD

  • Is this Janey Lee Grace of Steve Wright in the Afternoon fame?

  • @5cylinderturbo Yes!

  • Andrew Midgley, who had only just turned 45, passed away after a session at the Quayside Gym in Musselburgh on Thursday.Missed by his old Peterborough friends from Bretton Woods. Miss you love Mary xx

  • @dialog245 Yeh I remember him.,......iirc there was a gang of us that used to take the piss cos he played his keyboards real loud from his bedroom in Bretton....then he found fame.....

Oh the damn good ol days.......fucking miss em......go cola.....top fella...I remember following him all over P'boro city centre when that track hit...when he was at the IR and trailed him and he sussed me and went' are you following me'.....I went erm...errr..no...lol.....lol....top bloke...

  • @dialog245 - Goodnight & Godbless - what memories

  • please dont 90ties were pretty shit!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats my uncle in the red ! R.I.P

  • Sorry, the original version is with Sarah Cracknell. It was a white label and sold out, it was re recorded with Janey and it was this version that became a hit. I think I prefer this one cos it was the one that reminds me of the good times :)

  • @paypartyguy here over in Holland every old school song has a remix. Makes me wanna fricking migrate or something... originals are always better.

The worst remix was 'Guru Josh's Infinity'.. terrible remix :( and the youth just bathes in it. They accept and embrace the remixes. terrible way of losing the original feeling associated with these much deeper originals.

  • Song isn't from 1992. From 1991 actually.

  • @JonMcElectro correct

  • @hutchyotb Thanks. Knew it was from then cause I saw it on "ITV Chart Show."

  • Yes and no, St Etienne recoded a version of it, but it wasn't official as sarah cracknell wasn't allowed to sing on another label due to the terms of her contract, this, the hit version, featured Janey Lee Grace, of "Steve Wright In The Afternoon" fasme trivia buffs, on vocals, so there.
