This truly is a great phone! It's my first smartphone and the one thing that bothers is its much functions; you can do too much with this phone. Too much excuses to grab it. The older generation (parents) doesn't like that habitat very much. :-)

@DogsWasHere I had the Sony Ericsson W595 until a few weeks ago when my contract ended. I had to make the same choice and went with the Samsung Galaxy S II. This phone is just amazing. I would recommend it to you over the IPhone 4, but that's just my personal preference.

The problem i heard is, that the speech bubbles do not refresh if i get a message while im writing one.

To read the new message i have to re-open the conversation with the message partner. is it true?

The Super amoled screen is the most amazing thing on phones. It shows you every color as it is while other screens show every color white because of their backlight. If you use the galaxy s for a few weeks then you'll never use any other phone, thats for sure!

This is because of the contrast and colours and how the colours on the AMOLED just literally pop at you. If you look at specific screen comparisons you'll see just how better the AMOLED is.

Galaxy S II is faster, has a nicer screen, screen is bigger, it is NFC capable, has the latest android firmware (2.3) and it looks cooler. G2x screen has light leakage, it is not on android 2.3 yet but it is getting it soon.

its up to personal preference, all i know is Samsung Galaxy S II is way more badass

Im still on contract with my iphone 4 but Im very interested in getting and Android phone and Im totally committed to getting an Android tablet.
