Alex, you're my boy this week for the Top Chef comment. Justin gets props too for chiming in with the bit about Quickfire challenges. Pete, I'm feeling that maybe you're not watching Top Chef so you lose a couple points with me this week. Comic books and cooking boys, that's what it's all about. Comic books and cooking.
Okay from this and the previous episode i learnead that reading violent comics books like the punisher and wolverine means your stupid, bud reading "alternative comics" about teenage girls clubbin means you are very intelligent.
I mean come on, this is just comics! Get over yourself alex.
batman is completely fucked right now and i am starting to hate all x-men titles with a passion, which is why i don't buy them for the most part, but green lantern corps was awsome! haha i love pete's enthusiasm for horrible wolverine one shots! and i truly mean that, no sarcasm intended, you are the man pete.
I don't know if anyone else has started to notice this, but the big two seem to be having an issue with writing. There are a ton of comics which get reviewed with "the writing is bad, but the art is great" being said. As much of a fan of great art as I am, it can only carry a comic so far.
Ghost Boxes sucks hard, i mean it also sucks warren ellis failed with this one & astonishing x-men hasn't been very enjoyable. they should stop with atsonishing x-men.
I'd say this episode confirmed the different vibe had between Pete and Justin, when Alex is present. Night and day difference between Justin's barn and Alex's flat. As "The Stack", everybody was kosher, yeah? But, my guess is that's just Pete & Justin's dynamic, albeit graceless.
Scanning a comic isn't bad--stay strong Pete. Saying a review was wrong, when it's clearly a preference, is extraneous. Everyone at CBC is still cool in my book.
Wolverine gets back to his data entry roots when rising gas prices force him to take on a second job... Look for the plot twist halfway through when he *spoiler alert* joins the party planning committee (dun dun dunnnnn)...
The three of you should read a comic during the show then do the review right after. It'd be fun to hear your thoughts immediately after your first read through.
To be fair, that's kind of what we do with most of the books... Meaning, we decide on what we're shooting right before we shoot, and if someone hasn't read a book, they read it then and there.
i think what jman1380 wants is the real-time responses of pete reading the punisher - sort of like a two girls one cup reaction, but with childlike glee instead of pure disgust
Good show guys. As always the arguing can get to be a bit much... but my friends and I bicker when discussing comics too so its understandable. Also, I do not hold it against Pete for going back to re-read during a review. I would have done the same. Finally, I do believe Alex is the catalyst for the Pete v Justin battles. Although... the reviews at Justin's house could just be well edited to remove the fights, ha.
Big ups to Pete.

oh, it's REAL funny, sometimes it's the highlight of the show, but an unbiased opinion would be nice every now and then :D

I find we cannot agree on anything to do with Final Crisis. I thought Revelations was terrible.

One day Pete is going to go postal and kill Alex and Justin. What a show that will be. :)

I Imagine that Justin and Pete are the bestest of close friends when the camera is off. Like on Sunday afternoons they go and play tennis together.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm surpise most that, Pete didn't completely Hulk out. He sure was building up to it :P

I'm with ya Pete! Green Arrow/Black Canary is already much improved with Winnick off the title.
