The "ceramic heat conductor" as you called it is actually the cooling/heating device. It is called a Peltier device and it will cool or heat depending on the polarity of the DC Voltage applied. Alternately it is also a power generator. If you apply heat to one side or the other it will put out a DC Voltage on the leads. The blower would be just to dissipate the heat and allow the device to cool quicker and not overheat the surrounding plastic bits.
Topic for you to talk about : Maybe have you had a bf do you have a bf? are you having any luck on getting bf's AND if you have talked about this before sorry, i just found you channel and havnt watched all your vids yet,, :)
@jay15kz No offense. I love your channel and I'm a techie myself. Was just hoping to see your lovely face more often. I think you could read the phone book and we'd all love it.
Really, your videos are great & I was just trying to pay you a compliment...
That looks like a Peltier Heat Pump system. If you put a voltage in it can cool or heat depending how it is made, or you can use them in reverse to produce a voltage from heat or cold. Interesting little devices. They are used on circuits to provide cooling to MOSFETs etc where space is tight.
i got a mini fridge but its made in china, hope it lasts
