  • so should i still use a hotter liquid? or as long as it dissolves it should be ok to drink?

  • does creatine ethyl ester have alcohol init? or is it made by alcohol?

  • Cool

  • If you want creatine to fully dissolve in water, just put it in a blender

  • to be properly fair you should stir both at the same time and put the timer down. the micronized still wins though.

  • Good info.

  • brink, reckon its a good idea to have 1/3 of warm-hot water in a glass then dissolve the micronized creatine, and then add in some grape juice? because i hear its best taking it with simple carbs

  • Hi Will, love your videos, thanks for the great information! I just wanted to get your opinion on taking creatine with a high carbohydrate drink (non-citrus fruit juices seem to be the most highly recommended). Do you think this really helps absorption, and do you still recommend dissolving the creatine fully in the juice?

  • well.. Universal Micronized Creatine have same logo.. but still have same problem

  • do insuline spike from fast carbs do any good for creatine transport to muscles?

  • is it cool if i mix micronized creatine with cherry juice

  • My Micronized Optimum Nutrition Creatine does not disolve like the Life extension HHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. it takes like 2 mins to disolve.

  • @master9716 try warm water bro, just warm it will disolve as fast as this one. I HAVE ON'S.

  • if u stop taking creatine do you lose all your gains

  • @sullivanthechamp no but u will lose all the water in the muscles that u had

  • @TheDeacon09

And if you stop brushing your teeth, you will get cavities. Does that mean you never start brushing your teeth? No. (1) creatine has many potential health BENEFITS. Not sure why i need to say that so many times for people to listen, but see articles on my site and free ebook report on creatine (2) the increased intra cellular water is an anabolic stimulus that leads to new contractile fibers, so REAL muscle is the result over time.

  • @willbrink uh... well im using creatine pyruvate creapure and i didnt say that i dont agree with u i totally agree with u all i said that if u stop taking it for a while most of the water u got from creatine use will disapear in time and creatine really helps gives u great workout but i do recommend not to use it after u been exercising for about 3 to 6 months what do u think?

  • @sullivanthechamp gains in terms of weight, yes, but all the weight you will lose is water, not muscle

  • its oka if i use it in hot water and drink it when its cold?

  • can creatine be taken during A LOT OF fat loss phase ????

  • i have BodyTech's Creatine Monohydrate 100% Pure

is that good? it doesnt say creapure anywhere

  • i use Micronized Creatine from Dymatize its rly good.. and its not chinese :D

  • I will see you on the BRINK ZONE

  • Thanks buddy cleared up few things Iv always wondered never got any effects from creatine but never let it absolve like the way you did !!!

  • Hey what do think about Ultimate Nutrition's creapure creatine monohydrate

  • @goodfella514 go with allmax nutritions creatine its a little cheaper and its also creapure go to bb .com

  • @goodfella514

As long as it's CreaPure, it's all good.

  • @willbrink I see Life Extension changed there creatine up and heard its no where as good as the bottle you have. What do you think about the new version?

  • If it doesn't dissolve completely and you just chug it down, would it make a difference? I mean does the body need liquid in conjunction with the supplement in order to absorb it? For example, would the body absorb the powder if i just swallow it without mixing it with liquid?

  • @faYte0607 it maybe just me but not letting it completely dissolve and jugging it wud upset my stomach for almost the entire night

  • @faYte0607 I would like to know the answer to this as well. Does it really have to be dissolved for it to be effective.

  • can this creatine help me build mass?

  • You should try kre-alkalyn

  • @OriginalOrigins

It does nothing monohydrate can't do, regardless of over hyped pseudo science marketing you have read.

  • @willbrink wait what is this video about it's about micronized creatine being easier to use because it mixes in fully, well why mix when you can take a pill, I don't remember saying it was more effective or not, i said you should try it.

  • @willbrink How can you say its psudo science if people are getting the same results from taking just 1-3 grams of kre-alkalyn?

  • @willbrink Actually, Micronized creatine can be absorbed in much higher quantities than its counter part. you also can get more for your buck.

  • Thanks! You convinced me!

  • Standard creatine monohydrate powder dissolved really fast in hot water. Its the basic liquid saturation principle...heat means H2O molecules are further apart and allow for more substance to be locked between molecules. Then when it cools the locked substance remains between the water molecules.

Hot water can dissolve and hold much much more solute than cold water...simple science.

  • hey will.....thanks for all ur creatine videos...i wanted to know how much glucose should be taken wid 5 grams of creatine for better absorbtion???and is it allright to take it preworkout??

  • @hiranjyot

See articles on my site. Post workout carbs, etc are all covered in depth.

  • Dude, thank you for making this video and making it so informative.

  • what about xpn (xtrem performance nutrition) is that a good brand?

  • is it true that the more you leave creatine in water The longer you let it sit in water, the less effective it becomes ?

  • @Luccasio1 you can only leave it in water upto 20 mins, after that it starts to break down and becomes useless, forgotten what it turns into. jsut drink within 20mins and its all good

  • @GFXEditing

Gents, you need to watch my vid on creatine stability. Creatine monohydrate is quite stable in water. It's marketing myth by companies selling CM alternatives that CM degrades to creatinine within minutes. Simply not true. See Vid...

  • @willbrink Thanks for reply :D you help with everything!

  • what can u say about the gnc brand? and its creatine.

  • @loopstud15

I recommend Creapure creatine as the source. See my other vids and or linked articles as to why.

  • @loopstud15

See other vids and articles on my site. If it's not Creapure, I don't recommend it.

  • Hi will...I have bought some creatine whith says it is 99.9% pure but is white "shinny" powder. is it the norm? thx

  • @BaraLauraKhara

Does not mean anything useful. See my articles on creatine purity etc on the BrinkZone.

  • It worked perfect but i'm just thinking when it comes in ur stomach doesnt it go back to the crystals or does it stay solved so it works better and "healthier" ?

  • did u putt hot or cold water?

  • @rifetf

    The other vids cover that.

  • LMFAO everything is chinese..........hahahahahahaha

  • @dualoranges

There are two major sources of creatine: China and Germany (Creapure). I use and recommend Creapure. My vids and articles on my site cover why....

  • @dualoranges

    Nope, not Creapure. It's German.

  • Finally someone who actually knows what hes talking about when talking creatine. NICE VIDEO.

  • @theUSER101

    Thanx, pass it around!!!!!!

  • Just another general question that i thought would be helpful: is all creapure creatine micronized? Ive seen some that doesnt mention it.

  • @reallysecretusername

Not all Creapure is micronzied, but Creapure tends to be a small particle size anyway.

  • @willbrink looks like my creapure wasnt micronized. it takes a lot of time before it dissolves completely, meaning i cant see any of the particles in the water. a lot of it goes to the bottom of the glass as well.

  • @reallysecretusername

Yup, that's what happens. Use hot water, per other vid. That will help, but micronized is much quicker.

  • What about "Star Nutrition"? Is it chinese as well? Also, theres a swedish webshop that claims to sell swedish made creatine (monohydrate). Its simply called "Gold Creatine". Not sure if theyre real or not.

  • @reallysecretusername

I don't know where the source their creatine. You would have to ask them. If they refuse to tell you, then I would use another company that is open about where they source their creatine from, but that's me....

  • @willbrink Well its very cheap so i think ill just go with the Creapure brand instead. Thanks. Also, ive read that anything above 5 gram of creatine per day is a waste. also i read a study that claimed that the body can only absorb 1.5 grams per hour. Would you like to comment on this?

  • @reallysecretusername

I would watch my other vids here on creatine, check out my many articles on my site (URL below all vids, etc) and perhaps download my free report at Creatine-report dot you know what, which is full of studies, etc. Don't over think it. Take 3-5g per day, as outlined in the vids here, and move onto more important things :-)

  • Picking up where I left off ...

Intuitively, it seems sticking that solution in my refrigerator negated the dissolving effect. So, silly as it sounds:

--how hot does the water initially need to be? Mine was far from boiling, but it was too hot for me to hold the glass for more than a second.

--should I just leave the thing at room temperature after the creatine's dissolved? I tried that to start, but after it sat for 30 minutes and was still warm to the touch .. *shrugs*

    Thanks, man.

  • @senatus

Micronized CM will dissolve quickly is warm water. You can leave it 'till it gets to room temp, or drink warm. Non micronized will also dissolve in warm water, but it takes more time and effort as the vids show.

  • @senatus i just put half a teaspoon in my mouth then drink a glass of water.

  • @prebirth91

Then you are wasting a good portion of that creatine.

  • Will,

A buddy of mine gave me a jug of micronized creatine (Higher Power Nutrition). I've not used creatine in years, but after I saw your video, I decided I'd give the hot water test a try yesterday.

Sure enough, the stuff dissolved ;) However, the water was far too hot for me to drink. I had to leave shortly thereafter, so I stuck the glass in my fridge. When I returned several hours later, I noted that the bottom of the drink was covered in small ice crystals ... (con't)

  • great video! thanks for the tips

  • @oinky222

    Welcome!

  • All man first I hear that my protein has metals in it now my creatine could be contaminated too. Just swell, I have micronized creatine monohydrate from ultimate nutrition; was on sale had OK reviews so bought it. Going to read those reviews on the brinkzone. Thanks again Will.

  • @BadAssAngel

You will find the articles linked under the vids BTW.
