When it goes up to the high notes, doesn't it play each of the notes 3 times? I've been playing with a pick for YEARS, and just over the last few years started playing fingerstyle, but I'm struggling with this song...and of course Salvation Is Here playing fingerstyle
I will defenitely advice you and all bass players that learn bass to use FLOATING THUMB TECHNIQUE. It takes some time to learn but is the fastest of all. I hope Sapi704* doesn't mind of my comment but you must move your thumb up and down a string (recommended) or 2 maximum above the string you pull with your fingers.
If you hold the thumb on a fixed position.. 1) your hand will l get tired faster
2) not good feling for that thumb and you stretch your hand a lot
