REAL Free energy technology exists! But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the energy revolution!
(2 of 2) In this case once there is water between electrode and piece you have inmediately a current (because of salt) and that current is interacting with all involved surfaces (as oposed to EDM) loosing control of the real shape that is desired. As somebody said this is electrolisis and it is useless to do any precise job. Because manual EDM is quite impossible unless you have eternal time to do the job, sald was the the way to see results but turned EDM into something ese.
(1 of 2)This is not EDM. EDM is based on a spark that will only happen when tool and piece are very close together and it requires a non conducting fluid. The spark will "erode" only what is very close to the tool. It will not interact with the rest of the piece. Doing manual EDM without detecting discharge and short circuit, and moving the tool back and forth with a stepper motor or the like seems almost impossible to do with this drill.
Nothing new here whatsoever. They've been using a similar process called electrical discharge machining for decades. It uses a thin oil instead of saltwater so it doesn't corrode the metal and a carbon sinilar to pencil lead for the electrode.
science is a that greek watch maker invented the wheel bearing differential that formula 1 is using and actually stole it from him , also science is that the same guy invented an antigravity machine .
@DAIGORO14 When machining in metric, measurements are in mm followed by 1/10 and 1/100. So if you want to keep something 0.001" away from something you would need to keep it 0.025 mm away. The advantage of metric is when converting units.
One must laugh at the negaitve and useless remarks left by some about this video. At least they have searched and looked at the video, hopefully they have learnt something useful, but then again don't hold your breathe.
the amount of gas that is within range to enlight is very very low you'd have to use this for days in a small and closed room to get a dangerous amount together.
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on 10 videos in the next hour. if you do tomorrow will be the best day of your life
dude dont say its impossible to do these shapes without this method. u can use cnc machines to do these jobs for ya without having to make the stamp physically or you can punch the shape in with force.
Sorta cool, but seems kinda pointless, especially when its so blurry and ugly looking. any real practical purposes?

Free Energy is real and its here but the coverup is strong, if you are interested in a REAL free energy machine then
just search for the LT MAGNET MOTOR in the youtube video search , it is probably the ONLY working magnet
motor out there. Join the free energy revolution!!

@tmagdahl He's not doing EDM, nor did he claim to be.

I don't understand why americans don't just use metric you could say nano or pico metres instead of 1/1000". Video was very interesting.

very UNCOMMON COMPARED TO EDM
EDM is much more practical and in pretty high use. sink or wire type.
kind of a crappy vid because this is a crappy way to of "die sinking".
next do a DIY EDM.
